P Diddy’s Son Gets No Special Treatment
Recently P Diddy’s son Quincy was accosted on a plane. Quincy’s outrage is palpable. So today, Quincy took his grievances to social media, explaining his altercation on the airline.
“The pilot put his hands on me,”
The Crux of the Incident With P Diddy’s Son
According to Quincy, the incident occurs after boarding a Jet Blue flight with his assistant. Reportedly, Quincy made it onto the plane; his assistant wasn’t as fortunate. Unfortunately, the pilot claimed the carry-on bag the assistant was carrying was too big for on-plane storage. However, P Diddy’s son was adamant about his bag,
“I let him know I need my bag. That’s not a bag to check. It has my medication, my personal [items], my jewelry. It literally has everything.
However, the pilot did not back down from protocol, and Quincy didn’t let things go either. The pilot’s unprofessionalism was also put on display. In the young man’s words
The pilot comes with my bag tells me to get my fucking diabetic medication out.
There is no doubt things were out of hand. However, the madness continued.
Subsequently, Quincy issues his demands. He’s not leaving without his bag. Then a back and forth ensues, ending in P Diddy’s son’s forcible removal. The physicality led Quincy to film the remainder of the incident.
Assigning Fault
Respectfully, It’s hard to say whether the pilot had a right to deny the luggage onboard. But, undoubtedly, there was a line crossed regarding professionalism. According to a source, this is not new in the airline industry. There is already evidence of others having similar if not more considerable difficulties with airline staff.
Quincy’s Debacle Raises Questions
This incident raises many questions, many of which cannot be answered without a fair amount of conjecture. So, it is best to adhere to the basics. First, we understand that P Diddy’s son was subject to physical assault at some point. And such behaviors are never acceptable regardless of who is on the receiving end.
So the hope is something will come out of this. Still, given past situations, it’s improbable any lasting change will result. However, if this situation draws attention to much-needed reform, that is terrific news.
