Pharrell & Chad Hugo Dropped an Adidas Collab in Celebration of N.E.R.D. ‘In Search Of…’

Adidas praised the anniversary of Pharrell & Chad Hugo N.E.R.D. ‘In Search Of…’ album. The company released a line of shoes together with Pharrell and Chad Hugo. PW HU NMD N.E.R.D.- that’s the line’s name- features tan, mint green, and peach shoe colors. 

Adidas’s post on Instagram says: “20 years in the making. To celebrate the anniversary of @nerd’s debut album “In Search Of….” Adidas Originals and @pharrell return once again with a brand new colorway of the PW HU NMD N.E.R.D.” One can purchase the footwear on August 6th through the Confirmed app or in the retailers (not in Europe, though; the new shoe line is only at the “coming soon” stage).

This is not the first time Adidas works with Pharrell. According to the Adidas website, “the Adidas Originals Pharrell Williams collaboration” was “first launched in 2014.” Pharrell has been bringing a “vision to connect people with love, passion, and energy as a celebration of the diversity of humanity.”

‘In Search Of…’ was initially released in 2001 and remastered in 2002. At the time record picked No. 56 on the Billboard 200 and No. 31 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop charts. Recently Billboard named Pharrell and Chad Hugo the most excellent Hip Hop producers of the 21st century.
