Police Officer Kills Unarmed Man in South Carolina
Police Officer kills an unarmed man during a routine traffic stop in North Charleston. Michael Slager the North Charleston police officer who shot Walter Scott is being charged with murder after cell phone footage of the shooting was made public. The incident occured on April 4 during a traffic stop where Scott fled the scene and Slager chased him. The officer used his taser, then fired eight shots at the unarmed man which ultimately killed him.
Police Officer Heard Laughing After Killing Unarmed Man
Audio of Slager laughing about his “pumping” adrenaline shortly after the incident has also emerged. Slager has yet to enter a plea and his attorney has declined to comment publicly on the case other than to state that they are conducting their own investigation.
