In the wake of the Baltimore riots since the death of Freddie Grey, singer Prince has recorded a song focusing on the killings of African-American men. According to CNN a rep for Prince said the song will address the riots in Baltimore and other socials issues occurring here in the U.S.
In the statement released by Prince’s publicist it says
“Prince has just recorded a new song that addresses the unrest in Baltimore and the socio/political issues around the country in the wake of a slew of killings of young black men,” the statement reads. “The song is a tribute to all of the people of the city of Baltimore. Release plans for the song, which was recorded this week at Paisley Park, have yet to be announced.”
