DJ Premier` Is Going On Tour
Legendary producer, DJ Premier, has announced an upcoming tour of Europe this fall to perform alongside his newly formed five-piece band. The group, currently named DJ Premier & his live band, will play 15 shows starting this September across Europe.
“When we put the band together, the key to any any relationship is that you vibe together in a way that you can make magic happen,” DJ Premiere said in a statement.
His band consists of Brady Watts on the bass, Lenny “The Ox” Reece on drums, Mark Williams on the trombone and keys, Takuya Kuroda on horn and keys as well, and of course Premier himself on the turntables.
DJ Premier made up on half of the group Gang Starr, which included rapper Guru as the other half. The hip-hop duo released six studio albums including No More Mr. Nice Guy, Step In the Arena, Daily Operation, Hard to Earn, Moment Of Truth, and The Ownerz.
