Quavo recently dropped a new song called “Strub Tha Ground“, which features Yung Miami of the City Girls. The two have partnered up to release an accompanying video.  The music video shows the two rappers mobbing in the streets, surrounded by luxury cars and twerking women.

Both the rappers have been hyping up this track on social media with clips of their 90’s styled music video. Recently, Atlanta brought back a revived FreakNik weekend as several artists took the stage at Morris Brown College. Previous to the festivities, Yung Miami dropped a sneak peek at “Strub the Ground,”

Quavo and Yung Miami have high hopes that “Strub the Ground” will become the next big dance hit.

The visual embody the 1990s style which has dominated in fashion even recently. For those who lived through the 90’s will experience a trip down memory lane. However, for those who did not grow up in the 90’s, who doesn’t love dozens of women shaking their “assets”?

The song follows Migos’ latest videos for “How We Coming” and “Roadrunner” from the group’s last album, Culture III. “How We Coming” was one of five extra songs which were added to the project with the arrival of its deluxe version, as well as “How Did I,” “New Money,” “Menace,” and “Working a Fool.” According to Hip Hop 24×7, Quavo previously assisted the City Girls on the remix of “Pu**y Talk“, which also featured Lil Wayne and Jack Harlow.

It is reported by Complex, JT joined Summer Walker in her new song “Ex for a Reason,” which will appear on Walker’s highly-anticipated album Still Over It.Hence JT’s absence from the song.
