Quavo Is Never Going On Clubhouse
Quavo took to Twitter to announce to his fans that he is not accepting a Clubhouse invite any time soon. He says, “I’m not doing clubhouse” on January 3rd. If you don’t know yet, Clubhouse is an audio app that is breaking through the hip hop world. Since it’s in beta test, the app is invite only, inducing a LOT of FOMO. On Clubhouse, people can host discussions or have one on ones. Since the app is so new, it gives you access to a lot of limited content by celebrities like Drake. The topics discussed on the app span from unreleased bars from artists all the way to Silicon Valley VC’s talking about investing in the app. It’s a whirlwind wonderland of voices and opinions.
There have been many controversial hip hop discussions happening on the app. For example, there was a debate regarding the rapper Mulatto’s name. There are also music sessions like the ones 21 Savage holds every Wednesday. It seems celebrities are having fun getting their voices out there in a non-restrictive environment. Comedians such as Tiffany Haddish have also been having fun with the app.
Even though the app is in beta for now, it’s working hard to open it up according to its website. So maybe we’ll see you on there soon!
