It’s About Time Rachel Dolezal Admits That She Is White

Rachel Dolezal finally admits that she was born white and is coming clean on what she identifies herself. I know… I couldn’t believe it either. The former director of the NAACP chapter in Spokane, Washington appeared on Fox’s The Real
and stated on the talk show,

“I acknowledge I was born biologically white, to white parents. But I identify as black.”

She did receive a standing ovation from the studio audience, but it came after months and months of public scrutiny. Hosts Loni Love and Tamar Braxton didn’t hold back however, and said because she lied about her ethnicity, she got a job that couldn’t been giving to an actual black person and since she is white, she is afforded opportunity that are off limits to most black people. Dolezal then responded by saying,

“Sometimes how we feel is more powerful than how we’re born. Blackness can be defined as philosophical, cultural, biological, you know, it’s a lot of different things to a lot of different people.”
