Ralph Lauren is Being Accused of Causing Deforestation

The Rainforest Action Network’s activist are upset with Ralph Lauren and they are not keeping quiet about it. At this year’s Council of Fashion Designers of America Fashion Awards, a group of protestors held a banner reading, “When Deforestation Is Part of Your Lifestyle.”

As per Complex, the protestors want Ralph to use only forest-friendly fabrics in all pieces. Other labels that have received a lot backlash include Prada, LMVH, Tory Burch, Michael Kors, Vince, Guess, Velvet, L Brands, Forever 21, Under Armour, Footlocker, Abercrombie and Fitch, GAIAM, and Beyond Yoga. Ralph Lauren is yet to comment on the matter.
