Rest In Peace Naya Rivera

Naya Rivera’s search finally came with some answers, but sadly they are not good. Just yesterday, California authorities announced that they found a body in a California lake. Sheriff Bill Ayub had a news conference to announce that they found Naya Rivera’s body after a weeks search. Naya Rivera is confirmed to be dead, now let’s remember her. Rest in peace Naya Rivera, you will be missed by millions.

Remembering Naya Rivera

Rivera was missing since last Wednesday from Lake Piru while she was boating with her son Josey. All of the sudden, she vanished while Josey was left on the boat. The public has loved Rivera from the start to finish, which is why her death is so heartbreaking, especially while dying at such a young age of 33.

Fans really fell for Rivera in 2009, when she started the role of Santana Lopez on the hit TV show, Glee. Rivera playing Santana allowed Rivera to show off her sassy side and her singing talents. Her character stood for so much for the TV show and Glee watchers, as the sassy cheerleader came out as gay, being an inspiration to those watching.

Thinking Of Her Loved Ones

So many fans are impacted by Rivera’s death. We can only imagine how difficult and heartbreaking it is for Josey and her ex husband (hyperlink), Ryan Dorsey. Dorsey even visited the lake after her body was found as a way to reflect and remember Rivera. Singer Demi Lovato even shared an Instagram post saying in her caption, “your ambition and accomplishments were inspiring to Latina women all over the world”.

Naya Rivera was a mother, a role mode, and actress, and an icon for many. She will be dearly missed. Rest in peace Naya Rivera, you will not be forgotten, and your memories will be cherished.
