Recently, Rick Ross appeared on Queen Latifah’s “The Equalizer” and also gave a tear-shedding performance.
Rick Ross is one of the biggest names in the music industry. The artist has racked up five No. 1 albums, various hit records, and also owns a strong record label. Now, Big Boss aims to spread his talents into other media.
In 2013, the artist made his acting debut on Starz’s “Magic City.” Now Rick Ross can add “The Equalizer” to his acting resume.
In the latest episode, the rapper played Dilemma, an incarcerated rapper who reflected on his wrongs and how his family suffered from his actions. Ross even shared a picture and video on his Instagram for his cameo in episode nine.
“Much love to the icon @queenlatifah for the opportunity. Check out my major tv network acting debut on @theequalizercbs acting alongside @torykittles @cbstv,” his caption read.
After seeing Rick Ross’s perfomance in “The Equalizer,” fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts, and most of it was positive feedback.
“Rick Ross out here acting on the Equalizer. I see those. #The Equalizer,” one tweet said.
“Rick Ross in his acting bag. He’s actually quite good,” another said.
Rick Ross’s “The Equalizer” Acting, And Music
Rick Ross, after “The Equalizer” aired, went back to Instagram for a fan-thanking video. Ross showed gratitude to his audience for sending kind words on Twitter.
“Salute to the director, the whole team, Queen Latifah, the whole squad, you know what I’m saying. I need y’all to TiVo it, devo it, revo it, rewind it, whatever it is y’all do, and make sure y’all check it out so you can hit me up and let me know what you think.”
However, the big boss Rozay isn’t letting the praise get to his head. He’s still focused on his music and said so in another video.
“My passion’s still the music. My focus right now, I’m richer than I ever been. We done filmed two videos, ‘Little Havana’ featuring Dream. We done filmed ‘Wiggle’ featuring DreamDoll, and of course, ‘Outlawz’ is out now.”
