SMH: Rick Ross Arrested on Marijuana Charge, Thanks to his Tinted Windows!
Rick Ross has been arrested for marijuana possession Wednesday afternoon, June 10, in Fayette County, Georgia after after a traffic stop by police on Ga. Highway 279 in north Fayette. According to Sheriff Barry H. Babb, the deputy stopped Ross’ Bentley for a window tint violation and when Ross rolled down the window the deputy said he smelled what appeared to be marijuana. After receiving permission by Ross, the officer searched the vehicle and found five rolled joints in the car.
According to the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office, Ross was booked into Georgia’s Fayette County jail for a misdemeanor marijuana charge. This is Ross’ fourth marijuana related arrest after being arrested for marijuana possession in 2008, 2011, and 2013.
The sheriff said he will be able to post bond by Wednesday night. The bond amount is yet to be announced by the court.
