Rick Ross Is Being Sued For Rape By Association
Rick Ross is being sued by a woman named Jane Doe, who claims she was raped by one of Ross’ crew members during Grammy weekend. According to TMZ, in the lawsuit Jane Doe claims she was at the W Hotel in L.A. where she met up with Rick Ross and his crew, who had invited her to go to Cannabis Cup. She claims to have gotten in a van with Ross, a guy named Thaddeus “Black” James, a DJ, three security guards and the driver. She was then offered an alcoholic beverage shortly before she became dizzy and eventually passed out.
She claims she woke up two hours later with Black in the van, and they decided to go back to his hotel room where she passed out again. She woke up at 8 a.m. when she realized her clothes were taken off and she had been sexually assaulted.
She is suing both Black and Ross. Ross because it was his van and because she says Black was Ross’ agent and the rapper should’ve been supervising him.
Rick Ross has responded to the allegations:
“It has been brought to my attention that serious allegations have been made against an independent contractor, who’s services I use often. And while I am not directly involved or implicated, as a man and a father, I take this very seriously. I don’t believe any woman’s safety should be compromised and she should never be forced to do anything outside of her will, regardless of the circumstances.”
