With a man as rich as Rick Ross, you’d think everything he wants comes with a simple payment.  However, in his recent interview with Forbes, Ross shared how he saves money by doing things himself that most celebrities would pay for.

The main example that he was excited to share was his appreciation for cutting his own grass.  Though he admits he uses a tractor instead of a lawnmower. This is fair given that his estate has 235 acres worth of grass.

Beyond mowing his own “lawn,” Rick Ross saves money by flying Delta whenever he can.  This is particularly shocking since his lyrics are all about the finer things, including flying in private jets.  Additionally, Ross makes good use of what he currently has.  For ‘Coming 2 America,’ his estate was used as a palace, giving him a bag of $2.5 million.

The Biggest Boss

Though we’re not out here saying Rick Ross is a martyr for doing what common people do, it’s refreshing to see him be in touch with his normal life.  We know him as the big boss, but it’s easy to forget that he became a famous rapper fairly late compared to others.  With that, it makes sense that he has a bigger connection with regular life than most rappers, he’s been common longer than he’s been rich!

Ross is known to have multiple sources of income. From owning multiple Wing-Stop franchises to his empire in Hip-Hop.

We appreciate seeing him be in touch with non-celebrity life.  Shout out to Rick Ross, still “Hustlin‘” after all these years.
