Riff Recruits 21 Savage, NLE Choppa + More

New Social Media Platform, Riff, recruits multiple hip hop artists onto the platform.

Riff is a social media app that is focused on music. It acts as a place to interact with various musicians and meet other fans. It has video call rooms that let one be able to talk with others on the platform. There are also VIP and platinum rooms where artists might play music, sell merch, have an album listening party, hint towards future projects, or any number of other things.

What is the point of a social media app that does not have any musicians in it? Riff has recently recruited artists to make posts on it. Riff is growing at an incredible pace. It had launched earlier this year and is already on 21 Savage, NLE Choppa, Isaiah Rashad, and Soulja Boy. The app is already on its way to a million users. NLE Choppa was actually one of the first artists to try the app out.

Riff has also gotten investments from many major behind-the-scenes celebrities. These investors include Quality Control Music CEOs Kevin “Coach K” Lee, Pierre “Pee” Thomas, Top Dawg Entertainment’s Anthony “Top Dawg” Tiffith, and EMPIRE founder Ghazi.

“Riff created an entirely new category — culture media,” Coach K said. “It combines the best of everything we do on social media. It was a no-brainer investment for QC.”

“Tech innovation and music go hand in hand and Riff is leading the new wave for apps,” Tiffith added. “I’ve always been about reaching for the next level challenge, so I’m excited for TDE to invest in this breakthrough.”
