The star couple Rihanna and A$AP Rocky might soon make their relationship official. US Weekly’s insider source told about “a lot of buzz in their circle about an engagement being in the works.” The source also pointed the engagement “may well happen soon, but there’s no pressure.” The source says, “what matters most to both of them is to keep building on this truly beautiful thing they’ve got going.”
While artists might consider and plan marriage, it doesn’t seem to be as crucial for this couple. As the source reveals, “they don’t need a piece of paper to be happy, but Ri’s a real romantic, and her friends and family — her mom, especially — would love to see her married.”
Regardless of legal status, Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are happy and “open with friends that it’s unlike any connection they’ve ever experienced with anyone else.” The couple “see each other as life partners,” the source told US Weekly.

Rumors about the couple had circulated since 2013 when the Fashion Killa music video was released on YouTube. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky had only been friends back then. However, eight years later, Rihanna ended up being “the One” to Rocky. As he said in an interview for GQ, “So much better when you got the One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones.”
New rumors about their relationship started circulating at the beginning of 2020. Some source has also told US Weekly, the couple has been “hooking up” since December 2019.
In July, the couple was spotted filming something in NYC. They were also allegedly “cuddling up” and seemed to be open with their relationship on camera.
