Rihanna and A$AP Rocky skip baby shower after LAX arrest

Sources in communication with Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are spilling about their hectic week. From infidelity to arrests, what’s next?

ASAP Rocky In Custody

All eyes have been on power couple Rihanna and A$AP Rocky since the Barbadian star announced her pregnancy back in January. All the news about the future mom and dad was positive for a while. Both cheating rumors and an arrest are changing the tide of the couple’s image.

Earlier this week (Apr 20), the Harlem rapper was apprehended by police shortly after landing on American soil at LAX Airport. The “TESTING” album rapper allegedly shot at a man 3-4 times in November 2021. This story is still unfolding, and the details are a bit cloudy. One thing is though for sure, this comes at an awful time for a pregnant Rih.

“She’s heavily pregnant, and these are very serious accusations. It’s a nightmare scenario for her.” An anonymous source reported to The Sun. “Rihanna was very, very upset and stressed by Rocky’s arrest. It’s not the best time for her to be on such an emotional rollercoaster.”

In addition to these claims, it was also alleged the 34-year-old was forced to cancel her baby shower. Poor Rih.

Fortunately, A$AP Rocky was able to make his $550,000 bond. Apparently, the ‘Praise the Lord’ rapper didn’t even spend 3 hours in custody…His upcoming court date is Aug 17. It’s anyone’s guess how that will pan out.

Rih Won’t Address The Rumor Mill

A jailed boyfriend isn’t the only thing spoiling Rihanna’s stellar press run. The LAX run-in comes straight off the heels of a mega-viral cheating rumor involving Rih and her friend Amina Muaddi.

Earlier in the month (Apr 14), social media influencer Louis Pisano caused chaos when he tweeted out that A$AP cheated on his baby mother.

“Rihanna & ASAP Rocky have split,” he typed. “Rihanna broke up with him after she caught him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.”

The rumor then quickly spread like wildfire. The entire internet was reeling over the news in a matter of hours.

Amina Muaddi In The Clear

As soon as the craziness started, it ended. Muaddi took to her Instagram on Apr 15 to clear her name. “I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn’t deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile,” she posted.

The Jordanian designer finished her message by emphasizing her respect for Rihanna. “…this is not only directed towards me but it is related to people I have a great amount of respect and affection for.”

Following this dismissal by Muaddi, Louis Pisano posted a clarification of his own. “I’d like to formally apologize to all parties I involved with my actions and for my reckless tweets. I fully accept the consequences of my actions for my tweets and any harm they caused,” the tweet read.

So, these two primary situations have come and gone for the famous couple in the past couple of weeks. While they’ve come out mostly unscathed, it must be a massive amount of stress on the mother-to-be. Let’s be sure to send some positivity toward Rih and her man.
