Rihanna Covers Up Matching Tattoo with Drake [Pics]

After a night out with new boo, A$AP Rocky, fans wonder what made music and fashion mogul, Rihanna, finally cover up her matching shark tattoo with rapper, Drake

Rihanna and Drake got matching shark tattoos together after an aquarium date back in 2016. The tattoo was originally done by artist Bang Bang NYC. However, the small shark is now covered by a crown.

Fans speculate just what made Rih decide to cover up her matching tattoo with Drake. The pair unfollowed each other on Instagram back in 2018. However, the two still frequently interact via comments and livestreams.

Her recent decision to cover up the tattoo came shortly after new boyfriend and rapper, A$AP Rocky, gushed about their relationship last month:

“So much better when you got the One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones. I think when you know, you know. She’s the One.”

Although Rih still sports tattoos from other previous relationships, like her matching star tattoos with Chris Brown, Rihanna fans theorize there is a symbolic meaning for the tattoo cover up.

Rihanna is saying goodbye to her back-and-forth “shark era” with Drake and hello to new beginnings, and a new era of life with A$AP Rocky.

Unfortunately for #AubRih fans, it seems as though that chapter is officially closed.
