Rod Wave Gave a Memorable Concert But Not Because Of The Music

Rapper Rod Wave has exponentially grown in popularity since 2019. His single “Heart on Ice” launched him into massive fame hitting the coveted top 25 billboard position.

This week his concert was not remembered for the artist’s music. Rapper Rod Wave has gone extra viral this week after an incident with his stage. Wave was performing in Atlanta for Morris Brown College.

In a newly released clip, the world can watch Wave and his team approach the stage. Within seconds of them doing so, chaos ensues. A chunk of the stage falls below slowly taking more and more of the team with it. Wave , on the edge of the stage, scrambles back and falls to the ground, but misses the hole.

Rod Wave took to instagram to repost the incident himself and joke about it writing “Pimp Down, Pimp Down.”

Unsurprisingly, that marked the end of the concert. No injuries were caused by the event, but its occurrence stirred a discussion about the college’s funding. A more memorable night for the artist.
