Rolling Loud is roaring to life. Kicking off yesterday (October 28), the northeast edition of the festival boasts an impressive selection of hip-hop’s best. Running from October 28-30, Rolling Loud has no hopes of disappointing. The headliners of the festival include Travis Scott, J. Cole, and 50 Cent. Yesterday evening, 50 Cent led the festivities. Tonight, the headlining position belongs to J. Cole. And tomorrow, Travis Scott will give what he has and close things out at Citi Field.

Other performers include an incredible cadre of stars. Performing at Rolling Loud are Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, Lil Durk, Lil Baby, Polo G, with home-towners Bobby Shmurda, Action Bronson, A$Ap Ferg, and many, many more.

Rolling up or Rolling out

If you’re not at New York City’s Citi Field, no worries. The festival is streaming on multiple sites. You can catch Rolling Loud on YouTube, Twitch, and Rolling Loud’s website. Each day of the festival (28-30), the live stream is hosted by Hakeem Rowe, Tallie Spencer, and Jacques Morel. Tune at 1PM-10PM (ET) for the more than sixty live performances, artist interviews, and sponsored giveaways. Included in the giveaway is the so-called “Got Your Airtime” segment, in which an Airtime app user can get the chance to interview the artist of their choice.

Suppose Rolling Loud rings a bell from recent times. In that case, that’s because the summer edition in Miami was the center of controversy. During his performance back in July, rapper DaBaby went on a homophobic, cringe-worthy rant. A quick cancellation of DaBaby followed, seeing him fall from grace and setlists. And yet, those watching the festival virtually or in-person yesterday must have noticed something odd: DaBaby took the stage.

While not on his own, many were shocked to see him share the stage with 50 Cent. In fact, it was 50 Cent who brought him on stage. According to 50 Cent, DaBaby should be given a second chance, noting his lack of “development” as an artist.
