According to RZA, fans no longer need to anticipate a second season of Wu-Tang Clan: An American Saga

That’s right, the follow-up season to Wu-Tang Clan: An American Saga is on its way.

Wu-Tang Clan: An American Saga first hit the air in 2019. Hip-hop fans were hype, especially to see the story of the super hip-hop group told from their perspective ー and the series delivered. Week by week, the series gave fans a glimpse into the lives of the Wu-Tang Clan members and their legendary journey. By the end of the season it was obvious that the team of producers and actors had struck a chord with their fan base. Without a doubt, epic stories arise from epic journeys, and Wu-Tang Clan’s story is extraordinary!

In the 1990s, the  Wu-Tang Clan came together to revolutionize hip-hop and dominate the industry

No one could anticipate what the Wu-tang Clan would bring to the industry. The nine inspiring and talented individuals burst onto the scene, repping as warrior MCs. They were like the fingers of one mighty fist; and they came to strike a powerful blow. It was the first time a group of talented hip-hop artists would form a unit, while also remaining independent artists. Even more interesting was their singular mission,

“to open up the minds of the youth and the people and bring awareness of our people, our situation, our community, martial arts, and knowledge of self…”

RZA, GZA, Ol’ Dirty Bastard, Inspectah Deck, Raekwon, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Method Man and Cappadonna brought the heat.  According to a news source, by 1995 the sound was one of the most instantly recognizable in hip-hop. Not only were they beast together, but they were great on their own.

The Wu-Tang series hit all the right notes.

The story’s execution was brilliant. A blend of nostalgia, dope music and drama brought everything together. Fans were eager for more of the drama. One lingering question remained: Would there be a second season? Awesomely, RZA came through with the confirmation! According to RZA, they are wrapping up the production of the season 2 drama. But that’s not quite all. Fans can also expect a few changes, such as the replacement of the character portraying Inspectah Deck, and for a fan treat, season 2 promises a feature of U-God.

Unfortunately, no release date is specified yet. But you best believe we are pumped and ready for the return of the rap warriors.
