Saweetie To Perform At Bud Light NYE Event- Joins Post Malone and Jack Harlow
Earlier this week Bud Light Seltzer announced that they are teaming up with some of this year’s biggest acts for their first ever New Year’s Eve livestream, “Bud Light Seltzer Sessions Presents New Year’s Eve 2021.” Joining the star studded line-up is one of the biggest artists of the year, Saweetie.
For her upcoming performance Saweetie said, “Be sure to Tap In to this year’s Bud Light Seltzer NYE Celebration with me as we bring in the New Year together with songs from my upcoming album, Pretty B*tch Music. We’re going to dance and celebrate the ICY way right into 2021, I know that’s right!”
Saweetie is joining a killer line-up with headliner Post Malone, multi-platinum rapper Jack Harlow and Grammy-nominated, superstar DJ and producer, Steve Aoki. The performance will finish off an amazing year for the breakout star, who has kept busy through the pandemic with her Ice Life and Icy University web shows along with releasing massive hit songs. She’s also got an anticipated song with Doja Cat called “Best Friends,” coming soon, even though her label dropped an unauthorized release of it already.
“I am extremely disappointed in my label for prematurely releasing a single I was so excited about,” she wrote on Twitter after the song got out. “I feel disrespected. I’m hands on with ALL of my creative & had such a dope rollout for “best friends”. The thirst for clout & $ is real & it overrides the artists’ art.” She continued to vent her disbelief, noting, “We put so much work into the visual & we shot for days for this super cinematic girl anthem. And for this to happen? wow.”
The song has since been removed.
