Dancehall artist Shenseea revealed a sultry teaser pic for her new single with Megan The Stallion, set to drop Friday.
A veteran and a newcomer
‘Big Ol Freak’ artist Megan Thee Stallion has proven herself to be a formidable contender on the charts since her big breakout in 2019. With two number one hits under her belt, ‘Savage’ with Beyonce and ‘WAP’ with Cardi B, Meg is killing the game. Now she’s teaming up with an up-and-coming artist for her next smash hit.
Shenseea has yet to drop her first album, but her name is certainly making the rounds on social media. She’s already an established artist in her home country of Jamaica, getting a co-sign from dancehall legends like Vybz Kartel and Sean Paul. Now she’s ready to make her mark overseas.
Jamaican dancehall artists have a long history of crossing over to the U.S. most notably Sean Paul, having a string of massive hits in the mid-2000s. Most recently, Love and Hip Hop Atlanta star Spice has tackled the American market after seeing huge success in the islands.
A tantalizing teaser
Coming fresh off the heels of her new single ‘Dolly’, Shenseea is gearing up for the drop of ‘Lick’. She made the big announcement via social media yesterday afternoon(Jan. 18).
“Get ready!! We gonna go crazy this FRIDAY! @thestallion #shenyengz #hotties” She shared via Instagram post.
The steamy photo features both artists on the floor in suggestive outfits and making equally suggestive facial expressions.
The post was met with an influx of support from music industry alum and Hollywood socialites alike. Taraji P. Henson, Winnie Harlow, and Londonondatrack made sure to show some love.
