Snoop Dogg Snoop Dogg has been the man and the legend for years. Music and songs start with a creative outlet and are further succeeded by love and attention. Snoop Dogg and many other artists not only gain attention from their own content but in their featured songs through collaborations. Every feature, including Snoops, remains the best in their own ways. It’s time to look back and appreciate a few of Snoop’s best-featured songs!

Snoop Dogg Creating Value

Young, Wild, and Free (2011)

The best 2011 hit by Snoop, Wiz Khalifa, and Bruno Mars has become a celebrated song for younger generations! The song focuses on living life to the fullest extent, to never live a dull moment. The bromance in the video shows the importance of living life with friends. The song was further featured in Mac and Devin Go to High School, showing how the song affects life, where clips from the film are featured in the music video. The iconic song will continue to speak to even more generations, as we still celebrate and listen to old and empowering songs on the radio.

Buttons (2009)

One of Snoop’s best-featured songs is in Buttons by the Pussycat Dolls! The beginning of the song features Snoop and his rapping before the girl group sings. The intimacy between Snoop Dogg and the lead vocalist, Nicole Scherzinger appears strong as Snoop raps to her. It almost seems like the girl group is singing to Snoop as a response to his rap, as the song is quite intimate. Not only do the songs draw viewers’ attention, but the idea of romance allows further engagement to the music.

California Gurls (2010)

The song by Katy Perry sends a vacation type of vibe, while in this music video she is in another world! In the video, Snoop takes on the role of the game player while Perry is the piece. Towards the end of the video, Snoop himself becomes part of the game with the pieces, also known as Perry and the featured dancers. He’s inside the game by truly feeling like he is in another dimension, based on the context of the video. His rap addresses the gratitude of the West Coast while sharing it in a fun way with its catchy tune! The popularity of the video itself got a lot of attention, making it memorable years later.
