Snoop Dogg Dares Cancel Culture activists to Square Up! They Can’t Stop Him

Snoop Dogg donned his cloak of invincibility yesterday on a Clubhouse episode of “Behind the Vest” with Druski.

Snoop Dogg Keeps it One Hundred

The Dogg Father never backs down. He also ensures everyone recognizes he is the living embodiment of a legend. Legends rise above. In ‘”Mogul Talk,” Snoop proclaimed cancel culture couldn’t touch him. Subsequently, he dared anyone with a toehold in cancel culture to square up. He and his base of supporters were then ready to take them on.

“I wish a motherf****r would try to cancel me.”

Without a doubt, he is one hundred percent serious.

Cancel Culture and Snoop Dogg’s Stance

In a society rife with the desire to appease everybody, cancel culture steps in as the superhero. What is Cancel Culture? A University of Florida article contends,

“Cancel culture involves taking a public stance against an individual or institution for actions considered objectionable or offensive.”

The central idea is to remove the offending part from public platforms to silence them. But unfortunately, the impact can be brutal, as some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry have discovered.

What does it Mean to be Canceled?

The ongoing sentiment is when a person is canceled, you’re done. Struggling to get back is like rowing a boat against the current. However, this does not phase Snoop. He walks in the assurance individuals have complete control of whether they can be canceled. In the Dogg Father’s words,

“Cancel culture only works if you believe it when they tryna cancel you.”

As far as he’s concerned, he is the Snoop D.O.G.G., and cancel culturist can’t touch him.

Cancel Culture Comes Hard

Da Baby and David Chappelle, the two celebrities Snoop used to illustrate his point, have found themselves the target of cancel culture. Da Baby found himself under scrutiny following comments made during a Rolling Loud Concert. David Chapelle’s stand-up comedy presentation rubbed some the wrong way. He also fell under the thumb and ever-watchful eye. Even if Cancel Culturists couldn’t stop Chapelle, the vigor with which his removal was pursued was a thorn in the side.

Snoop Dogg Is Bigger Than Cancel Culture

Snoop separates himself from the two. He implicates no one can touch him. If they came for him, it would be useless.

“You gotta know that your base is your base. The Cancel Community is not bigger than my fan base.”

The point he makes is solid. The Cancel Culture activists lose if the artist’s support base outnumbers the forces bent on taking them down. One can only be canceled if their support base is convinced to withdraw their support.

Long live hip hop legend Snoop Dogg. His stance, immovability, and forward focus are inspiring. When you know who you are and your value, it doesn’t matter what others think.
