Snoop Dogg Newest Venture: Rosé

Published

on

If you’re looking for a cool beverage, Snoop Dogg’s here for you. This time, though, it’s not gin and juice: it’s Rosé.

We are now in the depths of summer. Some of the very hottest days of the year are right on top of us.

Snoop Dogg: Wine Merchant?

When not rapping, acting, endorsing products, or just being Snoop, Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. has been making inroads in the wine industry. Last year, he partnered with 19 Crimes, a creation of Treasury Wine Estates, to launch his first product. By way of a licensing agreement, Snoop and Treasury put out their first product, a full-bodied red wine called 2020 Snoop Cali Red. The bottle with Snoop’s face on it hit shelves in 2020, paving the way for the next creation. This time, in pink.

The 2020 19 Crimes Snoop Dogg Cali Rosé came to markets this year, and right on time. A recent report has found that rosé sales in the US are on the rise. By 2022, the rosé business in the US alone is expected to generate some $3.2 billion. Already in on the action are other celebrities like John Legend, Post Malone, Jon Bon Jovi, and Sarah Jessica Parker, just to name a few.

La Vie en Rosé

However, if you’re hoping for a Provencal-style, dry and dainty rosé, you might want to look elsewhere. As Snoop Dogg recently said:

“I enjoy wines that get the party going and set the appropriate mood for the setting…it’s packed with flavors from berry to cherry, and easy to drink. I love it.”

So, perhaps if you’re a coinsurer of proper French rosé, this won’t be for you. But for the rest of us, it’s just right. Easy times and cool drinkin’ is what Snoop Dogg Cali Rosé is all about. So put down the gin and juice and enjoy some rosé in the dogg days of summer.
