Fish Scales of rap group Nappy Roots is currently safe and sound after a harrowing kidnapping Wednesday last week.
Georgia rapper Fish Scales is regaining his strength after sustaining a gunshot wound. The injury occurred during Fish Scale’s kidnapping, which happened in his Atlanta restaurant.
Now that the authorities have released 911 audio and police records, we can see this crime’s complete picture.
A Failed Robbery and Kidnapping Of Fish Scale
According to Atlanta police records, Fish Scales was heading out of the Atlantatucky brewery with Britt Robinson, a close friend. When scales approached his friend, already standing outside, an unnamed gunman forced him back into the restaurant while demanding money. That’s when Robinson immediately called 911, informing the operator multiple thieves had stolen his gun and keys before attacking Scales.
Robinson apparently saw one of the suspects talking on the phone through the restaurant window, but it’s not confirmed what the conversation entailed.
When the suspects walked out of Atlantatucky with Fish Scales, they demanded the “No Phucks” rapper take them to his home. For all their effort, the restaurant safe only contained about $30. Unfortunately, Scales was forced to obey their orders and enter the vehicle.
Upon entering the car, one of the men tased Fish Scales in the head. When this didn’t knock him out, he attempted to beg for his release before escaping the vehicle. Following this, one suspect tackled the Southern MC and struggled before non fatally shooting him in the calf. Miraculously, the group of men didn’t follow Fish Scales when he began fleeing on foot. Eventually, he found a nearby residence and got the homeowners to call the police.
As of now, the suspects are still at large and unidentified. Scales informed police that he had dealt with angry employees before, but no confirmation has a connection to the crime.
