Stephanie Seban’s Hosted Breast Cancer Awareness Event
Stephanie Seban hosted the most amazing Pink Carpet, Breast Cancer Awareness Event at Neiman Marcus, in Beverly Hills, last night. Recently, Stephanie partnered with Le Metier de Beaute creating a cute make up palette, in support of Breast Cancer, The ‘Stephanie’ Kaleidoscope; which has been now been mentioned in almost every major magazine on the stands- Allure, Bazaar, and Beauty Professor, to name a few. The pink, circular, compact swivel palette is super cute, and the perfect size for any handbag. As a breast cancer survivor, Ms. Seban was filled with gratitude as she looked around the venue at her huge support system.
The event was very elegant, warm, inviting, and extremely intimate. I thought the edible centerpieces of delicious, pink frosted cupcakes, candy, and Stephanie Kaleidoscopes were awesome. And of course, a special shout out is in order for all the handsome, dapper Neiman Marcus servers and bartenders for keeping unlimited platters of pizza, teriyaki chicken, and glasses of champagne coming, all night long. I probably overly indulged in this luxury, having about 4 glasses. Aha. However, one of my drinks is validated- and sorta mandatory; as everyone obviously participated in Stephanie’s toast; which was extremely heartfelt and emotional. I doubt there was a set of eyes in the room that weren’t filled with tears of joy. The event’s guest list was impressive; I grazed shoulders with many business owners, marketing professionals, DEF Jam representatives, and with every occupation holder in between. ALL the guests in attendance spoke very highly of Stephanie, each supporter pretty much uttering identical words,
“She is an angel.” and “You just don’t meet people like her.”
I mean, from the moment the guest of the hour graced the room, in her little black dress and strappy pumps, she brought an astonishing presence of warmth. Her breathtaking character is rare; I totally agree with her friends, family, and colleagues. The night was magical. I left with more wisdom then I’d arrived, and a confidence level through the roof, from all the compliments received. Oh, I left a bit tipsy, too.
