Drake is reviving a fan-favorite team.

Billboard’s Artist of the Decade is teasing fans yet again. Though he’s been quiet about his upcoming album Certified Lover Boy, it doesn’t take much for the star to return to the spotlight. Out of nowhere, Drake shared an Instagram post featuring him and frequent collaborator Future in the studio. Joining the duo is chart-topping producer Metro Boomin.

It’s safe to say that the post, which has racked up almost 2 million likes, has fans looking forward to a new collaboration. Celebrities such as Mark Wahlberg also showed their excitement in the comments section.

The crew has an impeccable history.

The two rappers dominated early 2020 with their single “Life Is Good.” The track, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Hot 100, has been certified 9x Platinum in the United States. Additionally, it spawned a remix featuring DaBaby and Lil Baby.

It’s been almost 6 years since Drake and Future dropped their collab tape, What A Time To Be Alive. Metro Boomin, alongside Noah “40” Shebib, served as executive producer for the project while providing 8 of the 11 beats. This includes “Jumpman,” which peaked at #12 on Billboard.

Alongside the viral post, Drake shared another snap with a caption that simply says, “LOADING…” So fans should hold hope that the sounds from this session will surface sooner than later.
