In less than a year since his 2020 effort, ‘Styles David: Ghost Your EnthusiasmStyles P has another album for us coming on Friday, July 9th.

Like his fellow LOX brother, Jadakiss, SP is easily one of the most consistent MC’s in the game. With over 10 solo albums, multiple collabs, a serious mixtape catalog, and his work with the LOX, he’ll do anything but miss. Even his more forgettable outputs demonstrate real effort, dedication, and mastery of the craft.

With no track list, all we have so far is a feature on a skit. His boys over at ItsTheReal announced P’s album with the fact that they’re featured on a skit. Given their nature and their chemistry with the Ghost, it;s likely going to be quite funny!

However, we can expect the music to be anything but. Though P has a sense of humor, he’s a contributing pioneer to the grimy NY sound. One of most recent contributions, a terrific feature on Lloyd Banks’ Food, shows that he’s in just as good of rhyming shape as ever.

Album cover for Generational Excellence

In early June, P dropped the song and music video for ‘Scattered,’ produced by his son, Noah Styles. This solid single may very well appear on the album, with hopes of more production from his son. Its great to see the talent run in the family, but definitely not surprising! Look no further than ‘Generational Excellence,’ a 2019 EP produced by Noah and rapped by SP.

With one of rap’s stronger catalogs, unbeatable consistency, and help from his family, we’re sure that Styles P’s ‘Ghosting’ will be yet another solid effort!
