#FMSportsTalk With The Sanchez Show: Summer of LeBron…..Again!

Summer doesn’t officially start until June 21st, but the Summer of LeBron has already begun! Just like 2010 and 2014, we’re no longer “Witnesses” but officially hostages to LeBron James and what could turn out to be a legacy-defining decision.

This decision may not be as difficult as the past two, mainly because this was by far the most embarrassing of his 6 Finals losses. Throw in the fact that the so-called talent around him has disappeared as quickly as his own hair, and it’s easy to understand why he should leave Cleveland.

I don’t quite see it the same way, though. Of course, it would be easy to leave for Philly, Houston, or Los Angles. I actually think L.A has the potential to be the best of the 3 options. But, if we’re talking about legacy, then he has to stay in Cleveland.

I don’t want to see ‘Bron turn into a “hired gun”, chasing titles while teaming up with other All-Stars. Those titles and accomplishments would become hollow at this point in his career. Change the narrative LeBron. While everyone was trying to find the easy way to a title, you’ve got to stay true to the promise you made in 2014 when you went back home.

Stay home for good. Do what you can, find ways to upgrade the talent around you, but don’t leave The ‘Land. Not at this point in your career. I mean, the city is already dreading football season. Just imagine if you left them now?!
