Earlier this month, rapper Swae Lee lost some valuable items at an airport and tried to recover them. Those items were a watch, money, a mask, and a hard drive that contained unreleased music. On Monday the 14th of December, Swae Lee shared a reward of 20k to anyone that had his hard drive. With plans for two new albums, Human Nature and SremmLife 4, Swae Lee was determined to get it back anyway.
During a live, he noticed an account named @SwaeLeeHardDrive, which sparked a conversation between the two. The suspect held hostage Swae Lees items and even posted indications of leaking the music. The suspect who considered themselves a big fan of Swae Lee wanted $150,000 in return but settled down only if they could get a photo or feature with Swae Lee and Drake.

With a constant back and forth with the person holding Lees music hostage, they have finally struck a deal. Swae Lee even said it was like a movie but wasn’t too concerned since he has mp3s of the songs.
