T-Pain (Nappy Boy) informs a critic that he is clueless and takes him to school.

T-Pain  A.K.A Nappy Boy has been in the news a lot lately. He recently went ham on a lot of todays’ artists on his podcast. While his rant was undoubtedly entertaining to a lot of listeners, he was not amused. And, for sure, there were those viewers who were a bit put off by Pain’s commentary. Let’s be honest; not everyone is going to like what you have to say. And one fan responded to the rant with some scathing sentiments, claiming that Nappy Boy was just a hater. And not only that, but that the hate stemmed from Pain’s lack of success (hits).

Pain (Nappy Boy) was not going to let that slide.

T-Pain was quick to set the record straight in a tweet. He schooled the critic with a list of his successes. “Got 2 legit Grammies in the last 3 years and got a song out [right now] that’s top 15 on the radio in the U.S.” Nappy Boy keeps it real about his, and he is not letting anybody dim his shine.

Pain has gotten a lot of flack.

2021 Netflix Series “This Is Pop” has a segment in which Pain is a featured artist. In his segment T- Pain reflects on his rise and success in the industry. He recounts the unrelenting flack he received for his use of autotune. So the type of response T-Pain received from this critic was nothing new. Pain just kept it real, point, blank, period.

Pain’s got a legitimate point.

While he was heated, his argument was not irrelevant, and many wholeheartedly agree with Pain’s assessment. According to a source, Dre was one of those people in agreement.

“I’m here laughing my f—–n a– off, but he’s right. I know and feel exactly what you’re saying.”

Whether people agree or not is not relevant here. What is relevant is that people should have their facts together before coming from someone.
