T Pain Reveals He Went Into A Four Year Depression
Words can lead to anything. For a particular famous hip-hop star, harsh words lead to something the star kept away from the media. T Pain reveals he went into a four-year-long depression. In a clip from the new Netflix series, “ This Is Pop,” he went into detail.
The Reason
It was due to criticism that T Pain had to deal with so much. The criticism came from someone he respected, Usher. The singer said to T Pain, “ I’m gonna tell you something, man. You kinda f***ed up music.” Saying that Autotune was not good for the music industry. In 2005, T-Pain broke into the Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 with his debut hit single, “I’m Sprung,” which used pitch-altering technology Auto-Tune.
The Reaction
Both singers were friends before this all happened. It was all due to a conversation they had on a plane back in 2013. After hearing what Usher had to say, T Pain defended himself saying that just because he used Autotune does not mean all singers have to use it as well. The singer revealed in the clip that is going to be part of a new series going to Netflix, “That is the very moment, and I don’t even think I realized this for a long time.”
“But that’s the very moment that started a four-year depression for me.”
The new series “ This Is Pop” is now available to watch on Netflix.
