In a wild turn of events, Lizzo‘s Instagram followers are dwindling faster than ice cream on a hot summer day! It turns out there are some rather shocking allegations swirling around. A trio of former dancers has filed a lawsuit against the pop sensation, her dance captain Shirlene Quigley, and their production company, Big Grrrl Big Touring.

These allegations are as varied as a buffet spread at an all-you-can-eat restaurant. We’re talking assault, racial and religious harassment, fat-shaming, disability discrimination, and even a dash of false imprisonment!

Lizzo, in response to these claims, took to her social media with a lengthy post. She described the past few days as “gut-wrenchingly difficult” and declared the “false allegations” as “unbelievable.” The real drama is unfolding!

Accuser Calls For Tiffany Haddish And Aries Spears To Be Arrested Due To Alleged Sexual Abuse

The actress Tiffany Haddish and comedian Aries Spears seem to be in a very sticky situation. 

Who Is The Accuser Of Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears?

According to an anonymous woman, Tiffany Haddish and Aries Spears are accused of child sexual abuse due to their participation in a comedy sketch. The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office has been asked to have them arrested as soon as possible.

While certain acts are not intentionally intended to harm others, they may appear to be so to others.

A woman referred to as Jane Doe, who is 22 years old, has filed a lawsuit alleging that, at 14, she and her young brother, identified as John Doe, who was seven years old at the time, were manipulated and taped, committing sexually inappropriate acts in 2014.

Alleged Negative Experiences

Jane and John were filmed under cover of a comedy sketch addressing predatory behavior without supervision by a guardian. Also, there was widespread speculation that the sketch was initially titled “The Mind of a Pedophile.”

As a participant in a comedy summer camp in 2013, Jane allegedly had a negative experience when Haddish asked her to imitate sexual acts for a performance on camera. It caused her to feel utterly disgusted and nervous due to the occasion.

Even if the act’s purpose is for entertainment, it is never appropriate to request that a minor perform sexual activities. Victims could be left with a permanent mental scar if exposed to such a situation. In addition, those who initiated such acts may face life-threatening consequences due to their actions.

Lawsuit

As part of her lawsuit, Jane also details an incident from 2014 in which she alleges her brother was included in a video called “Through A Pedophile’s Eyes.” As reported by Insider, the video shows Spears fantasizing over and molesting the 7-year-old child. According to the complaint, Haddish was present when the sketch was filmed.

Moreover, NBC News and other media outlets report that Jane Doe sent a letter to the District Attorney’s office. In the letter, she informed them that she and her brother were ready to speak with detectives and prosecutors regarding the allegations central to the case.

Furthermore, Jane asserted that she would provide convincing evidence that supports the accusations against Spears and Haddish.

“This matter’s breadth and complexity require your jurisdictional powers and resources to tackle and end the stream (of) depravity committed by Haddish and Spears,” wrote Jane Doe to District Attorney George Gascón on Monday.

Furthermore, the Girl’s Trip actress and Spears are being sued on behalf of minors who have suffered forcible emotional distress, negligent behavior, sexual battery, sexual harassment, and sexual abuse of a child.

Separate Lawsuit

In addition, a separate lawsuit has been filed against Haddish. It states that she is being sued for failing to supervise, omitting warnings, fiduciary misconduct, and conspiring to commit deceit.

Tiffany And Aries Respond To The Allegations

On Monday morning, Tiffany responded to the accusations on Instagram.

“I know people have a bunch of questions. I get it. I’m right there with you. Unfortunately, because there is an ongoing legal case, there’s very little that I can say right now.”

In addition, on Wednesday, Aries posted a clip on Instagram expressing gratitude to his supporters for remaining loyal to him. However, he could not discuss the scandal much due to legal reasons.

“Listen, this is an extortion case,” he said. “This is a shakedown.”

In reference to himself and Haddish, he added, “We will not be shaken down.”

Gwen Stefani Accused Of Appropriating Cultural Style For Wearing Dreadlocks In “Light My Fire” Music Video

Gwen Stefani’s current controversy isn’t the first time she has been accused of cultural appropriation. Despite her long history of appropriating cultural symbols, she has dismissed the allegations whenever someone has leveled them against her.

The former No Doubt member appears in a new music video by Jamaican rapper Sean Paul and singer Shenseea. The footage shows Stefani wearing a Jamaican flag-inspired outfit with dreadlocks.

Several Twitter commenters raised this issue when criticizing her.

“Dear Gwen, You’re far too comfortable with cultural appropriation,” one person commented. “Y’all remember the harajuku girls? The bindi she chose to wear in one of her videos? The bantu knots? The imitation of indigenous culture within a music video, as well as, indecently portraying Latina women?”

Another commenter argued that she was playing cultural dress-up and wanted her to demonstrate a greater sense of authenticity.

Their position is that it is time for Gwen to stop treating people’s heritage like a childish game and to respect it as a legitimate part of who they are. “Alternatively, why don’t you portray your OWN cultural background within your work? I’m sure people would love to see that,” the commenter retorted.

Gwen released her first solo album in 2004. It is entitled “Love. Angel. Music. Baby.” A group of four Harajuku Girls, her dancers at the time, inspired the album’s name. Japanese imagery played a significant role in the development of this project.

How Did Gwen Stefani Become Interested in Japanese Fashion?

When her father worked in Japan, the “Hollaback Girl” singer developed a deep fascination with Japanese culture. The first trip she took to Japan left a lasting impression on her, and she has since decided to bring Japanese culture to the United States.

According to Stefani, cultural appropriation is inappropriate regarding her artistic abilities and fascination with other cultures.

“I get a little defensive when people [call it culture appropriation],” she said to Billboard. “If we didn’t allow each other to share our cultures, what would we be?”

Remarks of Positivity

The song “Light My Fire” is a contemporary reminder of some ideas many people believe Gwen has expressed in the past. Nevertheless, Gwen does not respond to criticism and is aware of her intentions.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, Sean Paul and Shenseea indicate that Stefani’s fashion in the video or in general does not bother them.

“I’ve been a fan of Gwen Stefani forever,” Sean Paul said to Rolling Stone.

“I feel honored to be tapped by two legends for this collaboration,” said Shenseea. “The whole process was exciting and collaborative.”

Also, Dancehall artist Bounty Killa expressed his opinions on Instagram about the cultural appropriation allegations against Gwen Stefani.

Before her Harajuku days, Stefani wore a bindi, a forehead decoration significant to South Asian women on a cultural and spiritual level. While the California native appears fascinated by many different cultures, not everyone shares her outlook.

After rapper T.I. got into a heated dispute with stand-up comedian Lauren Knight on Monday, April 4, the smoke now appears clear. The two made up the night of the altercation.

Both T.I. and Knight attended her open mic set, aptly named “One Knight Only.” The comic mentioned the rapper and his wife’s sexual assault allegations. T.I. didn’t like this and began shouting at the comedian, denying the claims. 

The dispute between T.I. and Lauren Knight continued to escalate. The two traded barbs, swearing at one another. When Knight tried to change the subject, she continued to be heckled.

However, by Wednesday, April 6, the rapper walked back his statements. “She’s a young black woman fighting to use her voice for laughter,” he said. “I understand that may take us down dark roads at times, but there’s always an opportunity to find a beacon of light & produce a positive outcome.” He then posted a video of the two on stage, seemingly getting along.

T.I. And Tiny’s Allegations

Last September, a Los Angeles judge dismissed a sexual assault case filed against T.I. and Tiny, the artist’s wife. The woman making the accusations alleged the rapper and his wife drugged, then assaulted her 15 years ago. 

However, the statute of limitations in California dictated the case gets thrown out. Even though this is a relief for the couple, real names Clifford J. Harris Jr. and Tameka Cottle, there are also other accusations. Many of them are as well for drugging and sexual abuse.

While the direction of T.I.’s legal troubles is unclear, there is at least a conclusion to the tension between him and Lauren Knight.

Snoop Dogg Denies Allegations of Sexual Assault

Well we expected Snoop Dogg to hit headlines this weekend. After all, he is set to give a killer performance at the Super Bowl this Sunday. Instead, Snoop and one of his associates are facing allegations of sexual assault. The victim is an unidentified woman, who purportedly is seeking 10 million dollars in damages. Sexual assault is a very serious crime; victims should be heard and helped, not blamed. So why then, is Snoop publicly mocking his accuser on Instagram?

Alleged Assault

The alleged assault occurred in 2013, according to the unnamed victim. At the time, Snoop Dogg’s news network, GGN, was just starting to gather steam. According to the victim, on May 29 she had attended one of Snoop’s concerts in Anaheim, California. After the show, one Bishop Don Juan, a self-professed pimp, offered her a ride home. She fell asleep in the car and didn’t realize that Bishop had taken her to his own house. Rather than leave, she decided to spend the night on his couch because she was too tired to complain. Early the next morning, the woman claims that Bishop woke her up and forced her to perform oral sex. He then gave her a dress and offered her an audition to be Snoop Dog’s “weather girl.”

After this, Bishop and the women left and went to Snoop Dogg’s studio. Once there, the woman reports she became physically ill and entered the bathroom. While there, Snoop Dogg allegedly corner her and forced her to perform oral sex while she was defecating on the toilet. When it was all over, Snoop refused to hire her because she, “refused to willingly and enthusiastically give oral sex.”

Snoop Dogg’s Reaction

While some men might balk under the weight of such a serious claim, Snoop Dogg is utterly unmoved. In fact, Snoop, who just celebrated his 30-year anniversary with his high school sweetheart, is making light of the whole incident. He maintains that the entire story is fabricated and dismisses the woman as an opportunist. In a post on his Instagram, he gave warning about “gold digger season,”

Fans of the rapper seem to be leaning on his side. They believe it is peculiar for the victim not just to wait so long before suing, but to do so just before Snoop’s Super Bowl performance, and just after his acquisition of Death Row Records.

Brooklyn rapper Foxy Brown has denied any romantic involvement with long-time industry peer Jay-Z yet again.

What set off the rumor

Since her 1996 debut, Foxy Brown has been shooting down rumors linking her and fellow NY rapper Jay-Z romantically. Jay-Z had a hand in mentoring the ‘Ill Na Na’ rapper early in her career and has consistently shown support through collabs and shout-outs. Despite industry figures close to the pair, like Dame Dash, denying any relationship between the two, the gossip seemingly hasn’t gone away.

Foxy Brown took to her Instagram story Saturday (Dec.4) to post a birthday tribute to Jay and refute the rumors once more. “Thank you Hovy for all the G that you taught me so my PEN be STUPID.” she said. As fans responded to the post with speculation of a reignited romance, Fox quickly made herself clear with a second post. “And I love B, Hop off my d**k 😂.” She fired back.

Brown’s series of posts also featured several photos of the two cozied up together throughout the years.

Foxy Brown stays consistent

This isn’t the first time Brown has had to take action against false claims. Back in 2013, she threatened to sue gossip blog MediaTakeOut over a story implicating her mentor in several scandals, including a past sexual relationship with a 15-year-old Foxy Brown. At the time Fox swiftly contacted TMZ to clear both of their names, calling the bogus story “the most disgusting and disrespectful allegations she’s ever experienced.”

During her TMZ interview, Brown emphasized she and Jay-Z have a solid, strictly platonic, relationship. She also confirmed having a positive relationship with Jay’s wife and mega pop star Beyonce. “Beyonce, his wife, has always been gracious and sweet to me … I will not let any undercover hater create discord and disrespect my name and reputation.”

For curious fans, It seems as though the Jay-Z and Foxy Brown stories are staying fiction.

T.I. and Tiny Harris Get Sexual Assault Case Dismissed

A judge in Los Angeles has declined to hear the case of an alleged 2005 sexual assault by T.I. and his wife, Tiny. The anonymous victim alleges that T.I. and Tiny drugged and then assaulted her in Los Angeles some fifteen years ago. However, this time frame puts the case outside of the ten-year statute of limitations in California.

Simply put, the case has expired.

Shawn Holley, an attorney for T.I. and Tiny, gave a statement to PEOPLE yesterday, saying:

“Mr. and Mrs. Harris are pleased, but not surprised, by the District Attorney’s decision to dismiss these meritless allegations. We appreciate the DA’s careful review of the case and are grateful to be able to put the matter behind us and move on.”

But neither Clifford J. Harris Jr. (T.I.) or Tameka Cottle (Tiny) are out of the legal woods, yet. In fact, this appears to be just the beginning.

The case against T.I. and Tiny

First accused last January, the couple is facing allegations of multiple druggings and sexual assaults over the period of thirteen years, 2005-2018. Occurring across the United States, these allegations are put forward by at least ten anonymous women. The LAPD opened up an investigation in May. Attorney for the victims Tyrone A. Blackburn has repeatedly urged attorney generals across the country to open up investigations, claiming the Harris’s engaged in “forced drugging, kidnapping, rape, and intimidation.”

The Harris’s have continually denied the allegations and accusations, even threatening to sue the accusers. The couple’s hit VH1 reality show “T.I. & Tiny: Friends & Family Hustle” was suspended as the allegations broke. MTV Entertainment stopped production because, in the words of a spokesperson, they needed to “gather more information”. There is no word as to when the show might be back, or if the fourth season will see the light of day. The show had been filming in Atlanta.

During an interview on the popular Hot 97 radio show, Ontario native Tory Lanez freestyled on an old-school beat. During his freestyle, Lanez alluded to the Megan Thee Stallion shooting he was involved in last year. He spits a few lines talking about how if the media hadn’t “framed” him for the shooting, rappers like Lil Baby, DaBaby, and Roddy Rich would have received awards for their collaborations with him.

“Shoutout to Dababy, Roddy Ricch, and Lil Baby. What I’m about to say is going to sound a little crazy, but it’s true so don’t play me. Y’all all would’ve got y’all awards if they never framed me”

Fans had a lot to say about these lines when the interview came out. Reactions were mixed, with many jumping to Megan Thee Stallion’s defense. Others agreed that the allegations held the mentioned rappers back from potential award nominations and that it was unfair to them. In the other four minutes of the freestyle, Lanez touches on other topics, talking about his success and growth in the past year, despite his involvements and cancellations.

“Oh Twitter, oh he cancelled, now I’m back here”

This is not the first time that he has referred to the allegations against him being false. Since the incident, Lanez has made attempts to turn the narrative against Meg and justify his innocence. Hopefully, in the near future, the issue will finally resolve and the questions surrounding the shooting can finally be answered. Regardless, Megan seems unbothered! She’s too busy appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit this week to respond to what Lanez had to say. As she should!
