Soulja Boy Responds To a 12-Year-Old Wizkid Diss On Twitter

Soulja Boy is firing shots at Nigerian artist Wizkid over a tweet from 2010. Soulja, who has always kept his name alive through various beefs, called out Wizkid over the tweet on Sunday.

“I swear, Soulja Boy is wack! Jeeeezzzzz!, the post from July 11, 2010 read. There’s no explanation for how the tweet came to Soulja Boy’s attention, but the Atlanta rapper has never been one to tolerate disrespect.

“Ya mama wack. Shut ya b**ch a** up,” Soulja replied on July 10. Soulja Boy’s response to Wizkid has garnered over 8,000 retweets and almost 13,000 likes. Fans have chimed in on the topic over social media.

“I agree with you Soulja Boy,” tweeted one fan. The tweet ended up being liked by Soulja himself. Later on Sunday, the “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” artist went on Instagram Live to further address the situation.

“I just seen this sh*t right now n***a, you feel me?”, he said. I don’t understand how n***as can say, ‘Soulja Boy wack, Soulja Boy this, Soulja Boy that.’ But as soon as I say, ‘You’s a b*tch, ya mama,’ then it’s, ‘Oh no he’s clout chasing. Oh no he crazy. Oh no, why he say that?.'”

A Deeper Look Into The Wizkid Tweet

At the time of the tweet, Wizkid was only 19 years and had released singles from his debut album Superstar, which dropped in 2011. Meanwhile, Soulja was the same age and had already released two albums with classic hits such as “Kiss Me Thru The Phone” and “Turn My Swag On.”

As mentioned, however, Soulja Boy is no stranger to beef. He’s had conflicts with numerous artists in the industry throughout his career. Chris Brown, Lil Yachty and Bow Wow are some of the more notable examples.

In a recent interview, A$AP Rocky claimed that rap music hasn’t been as “mature” since Soulja Boy’s debut.

“Rap is in its adolescence and it’s been stuck here since Soulja Boy,” he said to Interview Magazine. “Before, everybody looked 35 and up. When Lil Wayne and Jay-Z and T.I and Jeezy and [Rick} Ross was on, they looked old. Like, we had Lil Bow Wow and that was it.”

On Friday the 13th, a star was born. Rihanna and A$AP Rocky introduced a baby boy to the world. He was born in Los Angeles, but we do not know his name. Of course, it’s no surprise that we don’t know his name yet, as Rihanna said she would be a very protective mom in the past. She has also started a new wave for pregnant women, which shouldn’t come as a surprise. The Barbadian always goes the extra mile when she is in the spotlight!

It seemed like everyone enjoyed seeing Rihanna out and about while she was pregnant. Showing her belly while holding hands with her husband, A$AP Rocky caught the hearts of America. Many wondered how she looked so good pregnant, and Rihanna shared her tips. On Instagram, she shared her bedtime skincare routine. Of course, using only Fenty products, she uses a detoxifying face mask and a body moisturizer. The Grammy-winning artist also displayed her Savage X Fenty sleepwear, wearing a satin bralette with matching boxers. The detoxifying face mask is her new Cookies N Clean Whipped Clay Detox Face Mask. The body moisturizer is her Butta Drop Whipped Oil Body Cream.

Rihanna wanted to change the typical narrative about pregnant women. Therefore, she can be seen wearing see-through lace lingerie, robes, and catsuits in public.

“I’m hoping that we were able to redefine what’s considered ‘decent’ for pregnant women. My body is doing incredible things right now, and I’m not going to be ashamed of that”, said Rihanna in a Vogue interview.

Her pregnancy is so iconic that there was a statue of her at this year’s Met Gala! Unfortunately, she didn’t even attend the prominent event. Other artists such as Beyonce, Nicki Minaj, and MIA have made headlines for appearing at events while pregnant, but none have made quite the noise Rihanna has. This was a risk for Rihanna to take, but she’s a trendsetter. So she was up for the challenge.

According to Pinterest, since Rihanna has been in public showing her naked baby belly, searches for lace maternity gowns have increased. Rihanna’s maternity style is appearing in searches as well. Crop tops and low-rise jeans are selling more amongst maternity brands. Rihanna is ushering in a new wave for pregnant women. Historically, women hid their pregnancies, and pregnant women are usually not considered for fashion shoots. But Rihanna is changing the narrative with both. She didn’t let pregnancy define her. She defined pregnancy.

The Truth Behind A$AP Rocky Infidelity Rumor Comes To Surface

Rihanna was not cheated on. All false accusations.

This week the internet went haywire over the rumor that rapper A$AP Rocky cheated on his pregnant girlfriend Rihanna with fashion designer Amina Mauddi.

On Twitter, fans expressed anger, frustration, and humorous memes of what lover boy Drake’s reaction would be over the alleged split.

Fashion Writer Shares False Information

Initially, numerous platforms reported the story claiming they got the scope from an anonymous source. However, the perpetrator, fashion writer Louis Pisano reveals himself by tweeting,

“Rihanna & ASAP Rocky have split. Rihanna broke up with him after she caught him cheating with shoe designer Amina Muaddi.”

Despite deleting the tweet, the word caught on like wildfire. Pisano has since revoked his initial statement. He tweets,

“Last night I made a dumb decision to tweet some information I had received. I’m not going to talk about sources, blame others for a discussion. At the end of the day, I made the decision to draft that tweet, press send and put that out with my name on it.”

Alleged Sidepiece Denies Accusations

Just in, the Amina Mauddi takes to her Instagram story to further deny all claims of foul play with A$AP Rocky on April 15. The fashion designer accused of being the sidepiece is currently collaborating with Rocky and Rihanna.

In a lengthy response, she writes, “I’ve always believed that an unfounded lie spread on social media doesn’t deserve any response or clarification, especially one that is so vile. I initially assumed that this fake gossip.”

Mauddi continues by saying how this society jumps to speak on topics, and she uplifts Queen Rih. Her closing statement reminds everyone that Rihanna is best dressed while pregnant, and she wishes everyone a Happy Easter weekend.

Fortunately, the allegations are entirely false. The FM Hip Hop community sends best wishes to A$AP Rocky and Rihanna on starting a new family life together.

Rihanna Debuts on ‘Forbes’ Annual Billionaires List

For the first time in her career, Rihanna has made the ‘Forbes‘ annual billionaires list. The 34-year-old officially reached billionaire status in 2021 with an estimated net worth of $1.7 billion.

According to Forbes Madeline Berg, Rihanna’s newfound wealth isn’t due to her musical career. Instead, her successful ventures into beauty and fashion are the key to her wealth. Per Forbes’ report, RiRi’s stake in her Fenty Beauty line makes up most of her wealth.

The company, which Rihanna co-owns with conglomerate LVMH, brought in more than $550 million in revenue in 2020. She also owns a 30 percent stake in her Savage x Fenty beauty line, which raised $115 million at a $1 billion valuation in 2021.

Rihanna, expecting her first child with ASAP Rocky, is also the first billionaire from Barbados. She spoke about the achievement with the New York Times in September 2021.

“It’s tricky because it’s hard to even accept that’s where you’re at because I know where I’ve come from,” RiRi said. “At the same time, it feels good to be able to inspire young women and boys, who like me, come from humble beginnings, who come from parents who are immigrants or who are immigrants themselves, to be able to do this.”

Rihanna joins other ‘Forbes’ celebrities

According to Forbes, there are now 2,668 billionaires with a collective net worth of $12.7 trillion. Rihanna was ranked at 1,729. 2021’s list had 2,755 billionaires with a total estimated net worth of $13.1 trillion. The publication attributes the decline- the most significant drop since 2009- to sanctions on Russia, which lost 1/3 of its fortune due to the ruble’s collapse.

This year’s list was topped by Elon Musk, with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos taking the number two spot. LVMH owners Bernard Arnault, Bill Gates, and Warren Buffet filled out the rest of the top five. Other celebrities included on the list were Kanye West, Kim Kardashian, and Jay Z.

2000s are Back in Business

A$APs are bringing the 2000s back into fashion. They took white Vans Oldskools and added colorless fire stripes to them. With Russell, A$AP has created hoodies, shirts, t-shirts, pants, and shorts. Rusell’s items also don’t lack skulls and fire prints. This and a vast “RUSSELL” sign in the middle of shirts, hoodies, and t-shirts.

The mix of emo, goth, skateboarding, and other significant 2000s attributes in the new collab might be a sign of starting late 1990s-2000s nostalgia. It makes more sense, with people always missing the decade twenty-thirty years before them.

The styling of the fashion book refers back to the 2000s too. It’s very colorful, has pictures with chess walls, and pants on fire. While pants on fire might be a metaphor for the 2000s era overall (subprime loans, financial crisis, all that), other things reference the stylistics.

I can myself remember chess walls being trendy during my early childhood. Colorful images also remind of 2000s Nickelodeon’s short commercials about cool teenagers with their funny life stories.

A$AP Mob has always seemed to think ahead of all the hipsters and hype beasts worldwide, setting trends for them. Are we going to see more 2000s fashion coming back in trend? Reruns of 2000s movies? The 6th part of Shrek and Madagascar rerun?
