Yesterday, Apr. 27th, Pusha T released a music video for the standout track “Call My Bluff” from his new album. This is one of the several Pharrell Williams produced bangers from Pusha’s fourth studio album It’s Almost Dry.
The dark & haunting “Call My Bluff” music video is directed by Omar Jones & Onda. The visuals feature scenes of the Virginia legend at a dining room table with old people, rapping in a telephone booth, and much more. It perfectly captures the aesthetic of the song & pushes the album’s overall themes. Take a look at the video below:
Pharrell Vs. Kanye Production On It’s Almost Dry
Pusha T’s new music video is a fan favorite from the album mainly due to its hard-hitting 808 patterns or smooth instrumental palette. Many fans & critics online have debated who provided Pusha with the best beats for this album between Kanye West & Pharrell Williams. After all, the two genre-pushing producers each split the album in half. Another Successful Year For Pusha T
Pusha T is a rapper who’s maintained longevity in a genre that’s used to legends being forgotten. In short, this year is proving to be Pusha T’s best as a solo act. Not only was his collaborative ad with Arby’s a success, but It’s Almost Dry is even projected to move between 50,000 to 55,000 units according to Hits Daily Double. That’s a major accomplishment for someone that has been in the game for over 2 decades at this point.
