Polo G has a new album coming out and he’s showing his diversity
Polo G’s new album “Hall of Fame”, set to come out June 11, is going to be special. He recently released an album announcement for the project, stating that his focus is diversity.
Polo G came into the game already a pretty talented artist, with rap songs ranging from super emotional in “Deep Wounds” to political in “ Wishing for a Hero”. As we are just coming off J.Cole’s new album and his message about growth as an artist, young artists like Polo G continuing to expand his style is welcome.
Polo G’s last album, titled “The GOAT”, was a huge step in commercial success and critical acclaim for the Chicago rapper. The Goat debuted at number two on the Billboard charts, becoming his highest-charting album. It was eventually certified gold for combined sales. The two singles off his upcoming album are already charting high ,in “RAPSTAR” and “GANG GANG” (ft. Lil’ Wayne). “RAPSTAR” is Polo G highest-charting single to date and “GANG GANG” has already over 8 million views on Youtube.
If Polo G’s continued success is any indication, a more elevated album is prime to do huge numbers.
