Giannis Leads Milwaukee Bucks to Win in Game 5 Classic

Giannis helped Milwaukee get the series lead

The 2021 NBA Finals have been nothing short of epic. After an amazing Game 4 battle, the Milwaukee Bucks and Phoenix Suns delivered another classic game to fans with Game 5. To no surprise, Giannis Antetokounmpo delivered plenty of highlights.

The former 2-time MVP dropped 32 points along with 9 rebounds and 6 assists. On top of that, he finished a dunk for the ages to seal the game. Up by 1 point with less than 20 seconds to go, Jrue Holiday stole the ball from Devin Booker and lobbed it to Antetokounmpo on the other side of the court. He was fouled by Chris Paul on the play.

Phoenix faces elimination

With Game 5 in the books, the Bucks now lead the series 3-2. The series will return to Milwaukee on Tuesday for Game 6. This game gives the Bucks the opportunity to win the NBA Championship right there, but the Suns will look to force a Game 7. It’s a must-win for Phoenix.

Giannis

There’s a ton at stake in this series. If the Bucks win, it will be their first NBA title since 1971, and the first for Antetokounmpo. If the Suns win, it will be the first title in franchise history, and shed Chris Paul’s status as one of the greatest players without a ring.

Giannis drops 41 in blowout Game 3 win for Milwaukee Bucks

The Milwaukee Bucks aren’t done yet

Last night, the Milwaukee Bucks returned home to take on the Phoenix Suns in a critical Game 3 of the NBA Finals. Down 2-0 in the series, the Bucks did not back down but delivered a statement victory.

Former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 41 points in 38 minutes for the Bucks. He also added 13 rebounds and 6 assists to the box score. Jrue Holiday and Khris Middleton also contributed some good scoring, dropping 21 and 18 respectively.

The Phoenix Suns didn’t help themselves too much

While Antetokounmpo was a big proponent of the Bucks’ win, the Suns just didn’t play well. Devin Booker, who scored 27 and 31 in the first two games, only delivered 10 points in Game 3. He did this on 3-for-14 shooting from the field and only made 1 of his 7 three-point attempts. Chris Paul was the leading scorer for the Suns with 19 points.
