Megan Thee Stallion Shuts Down Critics After Gayle King Interview

After Megan Thee Stallion ‘s interview with Gayle King aired, several people decided to add their two cents. Her interview with King dropped on CBS earlier this week. During their conversation, the “Plan B” star talked about the tragic incident between herself and Tory Lanez

Certain people are unsure about Megan Thee Stallion ‘s claims, mainly because she’s speaking out on the case with Lanez. On Twitter, in particular, one user sparked the rapstress to speak up.

They said:

“Crazy how Meg gets to speak on whomever platform or song about the situation but tory or he goes to jail being it’s still an open investigation.”

Enraged by the user’s opinion, Megan Thee Stallion said:

“So a man can shoot me, chop up horse legs in music videos to taunt me, pay blogs to spread false information from what’s happening in court, record studio albums, and make diss tracks… but when I talk to gayle king that’s the last straw… FUCK YALL.”

The tweet has been deleted since hitting Twitter feeds. However, Meg’s claims ring true. Tory Lanez HAS released several diss tracks towards her, which I believe isn’t a smart move.

During her interview with King, Meg speaks about that gloomy night when Tory shot her foot. After it happened, Meg dropped to her knees and crawled to someone’s driveway. She also talks about their previous (and very platonic) relationship. Elsewhere, Megan Thee Stallion reveals that Lanez offered to pay her and Kelsey Nicole $1M to keep quiet.

Megan says to Gayle King:

“He’s apologizing. He’s saying, ‘I’m so sorry. Please don’t tell anybody. I’ll give y’all a million dollars if y’all don’t say nothing.’ And I’m like, ‘What are you talking about?’ I’m like, ‘why are you offering me money right now? Help me.’ If you sorry, just help me.”

Megan Thee Stallion Gets Emotional About 2020 Shooting Incident

Megan Thee Stallion has kept it pretty strong, but recently, she dropped her guard a little in an interview with Gayle King on “CBS Mornings.” Instead, she tearfully expounded on the night she was allegedly shot.

The Stallion’s Interview

Since the shooting, Megan Thee Stallion has been on a roller coaster having to at times defend herself about an incident that led to an injury to her person. However, yesterday, the performer kept it as authentic as possible during an on-air interview. In her conversation with Gayle King, Stallion recalled the events of the night she was allegedly shot and her emotional response to the incident.

In the performer’s words,

“All I hear is this man screaming. And he said, “Dance bitch” and he started shooting.”

Indeed, this is a recollection that proves to be extremely frightening, but there was so much more to Stallion’s story.

Stallion’s Initial Reaction

Megan went on to open up about her emotional state and response in the heat of the moment, and it was equally as scary. She went on to say,

“I didn’t want to move too quick, like ‘cause I’m like, ‘Oh my god. If I take the wrong step … I don’t know if he could shoot me and kill me.”

Assuredly, that’s not an experience you live down easily. However, in her statement, one can tell the struggle the “Thot S**t” artist had to overcome to gain clarity of reason.

“I never put my hands on anybody. I never raised my voice too loud. This was one of those times when it was like it shouldn’t have got this crazy.”

That is a point which everyone can agree on.

Rehashing and Reliving

There is a lot that has transpired since the event but, regardless of how they played out for a victim, it’s never easy to relive the horrifying experience. It certainly has not been easy to justify behaviors and responses that occur at the moment of a traumatic event. Nevertheless, Megan has had to do it so many times.

Our Part in the Megan Story

While some may call into question Megan’s authenticity, one cannot deny the rawness of her emotions. The world held witness as the tears flowed in her open testament, and being that it was an injurious event in her life, it is not for us to stand in judgment. Instead, it is for us to hold an audience. It is with great hopes that Stallion finds healing in whatever way possible. For it does not go unnoticed after such an incident, the recovery is never purely physical.

Gayle King Sits Down For Exclusive Interview with Former Live-In Girlfriend of R. Kelly

Gayle King Does Exclusive Interview With Azriel Clary

Gayle King sat down for an exclusive interview with Clary, a survivor and former live-in girlfriend of R. Kelly. Clary was the key witness in the trial that recently led to the conviction of R. Kelly. The 54-year-old singer is currently awaiting his sentencing and faces life in prison for sex trafficking and racketeering. In her first interview since the trial, the 23-year-old opened up about her previous relationship. She also talked about how she felt having to testify against Kelly during the trial.

Azriel Clary Says That It Was All A Lie

King first interviewed Clary in 2019. At that time, she was joined by Jocelyn Savage, who is also a former live-in girlfriend of Kelly’s. Both of the young ladies had been living with R. Kelly for five years and defended him. Clary was the most vocal of the two when it came to defending Kelly. However, she returned for this interview, revealing that everything she had said previously was a lie. Clary and Savage were coached by R. Kelly himself. He told them what to say and how to say it. Kelly made both of the young ladies practice every day for the interview. Clary told King that he even celebrated the interview’s outcome afterwards, telling the ladies that they had done amazing.

Azriel Clary Leaves Kelly’s Condo and Gets Into Brawl with Savage

Clary revealed that seven months after her first interview with King in 2019, she decided to leave the condo she shared with Kelly and Savage. I felt “lost and invisible, giving someone that power over me.” On January 8, 2020, Clary was at the condo at the time that Savage returned to retrieve a few items, including Kelly’s Grammys. Not long after her she arrived, the shouting had begun between the two. In the video, Clary accused Savage of sleeping with her while she was a minor. Savage then attacked her.

Savage Arrested For Assaulting Clary

The police were called to the scene. Savage was then arrested and charged with misdemeanor domestic battery. Clary accused Savage of hitting and kicking her, although Savage denied it. The incident was caught on video. Clary suffered injuries to the face and was treated at Northwestern Memorial Hospital. Savage was released the next day from police custody on a written promise to appear in court on her next scheduled court date.

Clary Reveals the Truth

Clary met Kelly when she was 17 years old. That was the time that he’d begun to abuse her. During the trial, Clary testified that Kelly abused her verbally and physically. The details of the abuse were very graphic. Clary revealed that having to relive those moments in court was disturbing. However, a piece of her was happy because she felt like Kelly no longer had control over her.

“I’m Very Happy to Be Back”

King told Clary that their interview felt like a full-circle moment. King commended Clary for wanting to come back and wanting people to see who she really was. Clary said that she thought it was very important for her to take accountability for her actions and let others know that “it is OK to reevaluate your life. It is OK to change your mind. You are never too old to wake up and say, hey, I thought that this was good for me, but it’s actually not. It is OK to apologize and forgive yourself.”

Kelly Awaits Sentencing

On Monday, September 27, 2021, Kelly was found guilty on all charges and was convicted of sex trafficking and racketeering. Kelly’s attorney expressed his disappointment in the verdict and said that he plans on appealing it. Kelly made a statement thanking his supporters and letting them know that he’ll continue to fight for his freedom.
