Nicki Minaj Shares Thoughts On Will Smith and Chris Rock Altercation

Nicki Minaj is a lot more active musically & online this year compared to the past few. Naturally, she is just as aware of Will’s attack on Chris Rock at the Academy Awards last Sunday (March 27th). Nicki shared her thoughts on the situation on Twitter yesterday (March 28th) & displayed a lot of insight into her reasonings. She fully supports Will & Jada Pinkett Smith’s side of the situation, while still showing love to Chris Rock. Ultimately, Will slapped Chris Rock in the face due to a poor joke made by the legendary comedian & award host about his wife Jada. The joke aimed at Jada’s hair loss which Chris clearly did not know was because she has “alopecia”.

Why Nicki Minaj Supports Will’s Action

Some people are not fans of Will’s viral attack the other night. Nicki seems to have the opposite take & makes very valid points about sticking up for someone you love. It showcases some of the morals Nicki Minaj values in men (and people in general). Here are some of her other tweets detailing the celebrity perspective/point of view:

“Rap Up 2021” by Uncle Murda Goes After Lil Nas X

Uncle Murda has released a new track, “Rap Up 2021”. In it, he disses Lil Nas X and also a couple of other major 2021 figures.

Every year, Uncle Murda releases a “Rap Up,” which is him looking back on the year and rapping about the year’s significant events within the African American and Rap communities. He usually starts by dissing another rapper after saying that he means no disrespect. This year is no exception.

The “Rap Up” target this year is Lil Nas X.

“Lil Nas X gon’ catch AIDS and die like Eazy-E (He is)/Hope the LGBTQ don’t cancel me (Please)/Like they tried to stop DaBaby from gettin’ paid/When he was talkin’ ’bout how they be givin’ each othеr AIDS.”

Lil Nas X came out of the closet on June 30, 2019. “Rap Up” also mentioned Eazy-E, who had died from AIDS induced pneumonia in 1995.

The final piece of Murda’s diss is DaBaby, who, on Rolling Loud Miami, 2021, said some homophobic remarks. These remarks caused him to be dropped from several other festivals. He returned to Rolling Loud Los Angeles last month. However, he was met with the crowd pelting him with their drinks.

Murda later raps about Will Smith and Jada Pinkett-Smith’s relationship.

“But don’t got to Instagram or get the cops in it/If he kill her, she gon’ go to Heaven and let Pac hit it.”

He references Will Smith’s admittance of being jealous of Jada’s relationship with Tupac early into their relationship.

Uncle Murda did the thing that he does every year. He tries to start beef with someone else and talk about his takes of the events that have happened the past year.

August Alsina Claims He Had an Affair With Jada Pinkett Smith

Rumors of an Affair between Jada Pinkett Smith and singer August Alsina have circulated since the release of Alsina’s song ‘Nunya,’  in 2019.

While the singer originally denied the allegations stating the song was not about Jada on Tuesday,  he recanted his statement.

in an exclusive interview with Angela Yee, Alsina explained how the allegations of the affair have affected him on a level much deeper than just emotionally.

“People can have whatever ideas they like. But what I’m not OK with is my character being in question …” he stated, “But in this instance, there are so many people who are side-eyeing me … I’ve lost money, friendships, relationships behind it. And I think it’s because people don’t necessarily know the truth. ”

He stated that the two allegedly had an ongoing romance with the blessing of Jada’s husband, Will Smith.

“I actually sat down with Will and had a conversation … He gave me his blessing,” Alsina claimed.

Yee questioned the artist stating, “Is it disappointing that (Jada) never addressed it to you, because like you said, you lost out on opportunities?”

Alsina responded, “I really can’t even get into the thought of that because I am only responsible for myself.”

The singer praised the Smith family stating, “I love those people like my family. I don’t have a bad thing to say about them. They are beautiful people.”

The interview also touched on Alsina’s autoimmune disease, his upcoming album and the loss of his sister, Chandra, who died of cancer in 2018.

Jada and Will Smith have denied the allegations.
