Amber Heard and Johnny Depp have been going at it for weeks in court. But, at the end of their trial, the judge ruled in the “Pirates of the Caribbean” actor’s favor. At the same token, Heard was compensated $2M.
Johnny Depp’s and Amber Heard’s Trial
Johnny Depp recalled moments of physical abuse and even went as far as to record Heard saying she “hit” him. Not to say Johnny Depp was innocent either.
As per Heard, Depp did a cavity search out of jealousy and even stuck a bottle where the sun definitely doesn’t shine!
Given all the evidence both parties and their witnesses provided, the judge concluded that Heard falsified her story. They demand Heard to pay Depp $15M for defaming the actor.
He sued Heard because she lied about him physically and sexually assaulting her during their marriage. These fabrications, unfortunately, made their way to an article. Johnny Depp then lost his role in the “Pirates of the Caribbean.”
Although Depp won the case, Heard’s supporters didn’t pump their brakes. Instead, a GoFundMe “Justice for Amber Heard” campaign was created in the actresses’ favor. However, this campaign was not given the time of day by GoFundMe.
But instead, they ended the fundraising attempts immediately. Additionally, Amber Heard and her legal team deny having affiliation with the $1M campaign.
Alleged Fraud In Amber Heard’s Support
As time passed, news sources reported that Kimberly Moore, who lied about having ties with Heard’s legal team, created the “Justice for Amber Heard” campaign. Moreover, Moore assured supporters that all the money would go toward them.
To reel fans in, Kimberly Moore wrote the following. As per TMZ
“The trial was a disgrace. I believe Amber and social media protected the abuser. The judgment exceeds her net worth. It’s so sad that he could get away with the abuse. The judgment furthers that abuse.”
To give Heard fanatics some reassurance, Moore also wrote
“She will have direct access to the money. I also contacted her attorney so they can loop her in.”
Today, news spread about Heard not being able to pay this sum of money she owes Depp. On Thursday, her lawyer unveiled that the actress will only be able to pay $10M.
