H.E.R.’s Light’s On Festival Set to Return

On the 2021 BET awards show, H.E.R. announced the return of the Lights on Festival.

And on June 28th, H.E.R. (Gabriella Wilson) spoke to the press, divulging more festival details. 2021 marks the third year of H.E.R.’s celebration of R&B through the festival. She first brought the festival to California in 2019. And this is no ordinary event. As, according to a source, the festival’s 2019 opening was historical. “It was the first female-owned and curated festival in decades,” making it just as groundbreaking as Gabriella Wilson herself.

H.E.R. is a phenomenally gifted artist with a signature style.

H.E.R. brings a unique intrigue to music. Her 2016 entry into the industry caused quite a stir. Without a doubt, it was her unique style that was voluminous, underscoring her persona. And it was Wilson’s silhouette and sultry vocal feature on Daniel Caesar’s “Best part” that had everyone wanting to know a little bit more about H.E.R.

Although she rolls with an alias, she is not an enigma. Wilson reveals a little of herself with every performance demonstrating to the world that the revelation of one’s identity does not define the depth of talent. She commands a stage no matter the venue. Furthermore, her abilities on the guitar fully compliment her vocals. The Light’s On Festival is one of the ways Gabriella gives back. As a source indicates, a portion of the sales proceeds goes towards the Grammy Museum and MusicCares.

Tickets for this two-day celebration from September 18-19 are now on sale. And the event promises to be an event not to miss. The festival includes a star-studded roster with performances from Ari Lennox, Ty Dollar $ign, Keysha Cole, and Erykah Badu. H.E.R. and her friends, along with other special guests, will also be there.

The Light’s On Festival will be an event to remember.

And as in the past, the festival will be held at California’s Concord Pavilion, with something for everyone. So don’t miss out; not only will the festival showcase musical talent, but it will also include living art, film screening, an arcade, and an R&B museum.

We show our support for H.E.R. in hopes that the 2021 Lights On Festival will be an unbelievable success. After all, a little celebration is well worth it, after the year we have had.
