XXXTentacion Murder Prosecutors Find New Evidence Against Williams

According to AllHipHop, prosecutors have found several pieces of evidence against the suspect in XXXTentacion’s murder trial, Dedrick Williams.

Williams was a tattoo artist. Before the murder, his big fame claim is from getting a tattoo for Kodak Black.

It’s also not Williams’ first brush with the law. In February 2014, he went under arrest for grand theft auto. Then in May of that same year, Williams faced the charges of aggravated assault and battery. In November 2017, Williams also faced accusations of possession of cocaine and possessing a weapon while being a convicted felon. When Williams faced the conviction of murder, he was still on probation.

William’s murder of XXXTentacion

On June 18, 2018, XXXTentacion got shot to death near a motorbike showroom in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Shortly before, he went to a bank to buy a new motorcycle. Approximately $50,000 was missing after the murder.

The first evidence is that Williams’ phone had pinged at the scene of the crime only a minute before the shooting. Law enforcement also connected the gun used in the shooting to Williams’ home through a live round found there.

On the night of the murder, there also exists footage of Williams tossing $100 bills around. The assumption was that he had taken the money from XXXTentacion’s corpse.

Williams was also supposedly with the two alleged shooters, Michael Boatwright and Trayvon Newsome, at the time of the crime, Williams’ girlfriend at the time reports.

In November of 2022, the court appointed a psychologist to Boatwright to determine if he could stand trial. The results of the evaluation are currently unknown. Like the other defendants, Boatwright is facing first-degree murder and armed robbery with a firearm charge.
