Griselda rapper Westside Gunn is releasing two new albums before 2021 ends. He confirmed his intentions in a tweet on July 11.

Westside Gunn for the Culture
Gunn was executive producer for Mach-Hommy’s Pray for Haiti, an album that’s being touted as one of the best of 2021. He also appeared on IDK’s “Red” alongside Jay Electronica and the late MF DOOM.
The Buffalo native has also curated Dave East’s upcoming album, Hoffa. Westside Gunn also has plans to open an art gallery in his hometown. And despite all these projects, he still finds time to be one of the most lyrical rappers in the game right now.
Something is always cooking
This news further solidifies Gunn’s declaration of not retiring. He has managed to churn out solid work consistently, despite the loss of Griselda producer DJ Shay late last year. Fans are already buzzing online about what the Flygod has in store.
No Westside Gunn project stands alone
The untitled projects mark the fifth and sixth studio albums of Gunn’s career. He has already worked with notable producers such as Statik Selektah, The Alchemist, and Roc Marciano. Griselda group members, Conway the Machine, Benny the Butcher and Machine Gun Black have been featured on his previous albums, WHO MADE THE SUNSHINE and Pray for Paris.
It will be interesting to see who he brings aboard for these two future albums.
