On the tape, Lil Wayne raps over popular beats ranging from Jack Harlow’s “Tyler Herro” to YNW Melly’s “Mixed Personalities”, giving them the famous Tunechi treatment with his intricate flow patterns. The new release comes off the heels of a blockbuster report that Lil Wayne pleaded guilty to a federal firearm charge in Miami and faces up to 10 years in prison. His hearing is scheduled for January 28, 2021.

It has been a tumultuous year for the New Orleans rapper, who was recently dumped by his girlfriend over his controversial support for Donald Trump. However, that hasn’t stopped the music from coming. Lil Wayne released his 13th studio album Funeral in January, re-released some of his classic mixtapes on streaming services, dropped the deluxe version of Tha Carter V, and has been featured on nearly 20 songs. Needless to say, Mr. Carter seems to have kept a busy schedule over quarantine!
