Cardi B Announces New Reebok Collection Is Dropping In October

Cardi B recently announced that she’s dropping her new Reebok collection.

According to USA Today, Cardi made an announcement about the collection via Twitter. In the post, she shared a behind-the-scenes video of her design process.

“New @Reebok collection coming [on] 10/14 #CardiBxReebok,” she tweeted on Sept. 29.

In the video, which the camera crew shot while Cardi was pregnant with Wave, she looked over pieces with her team. At one point, she looked over some hot-pink sweatpants and told them to make items “as girly as possible.” The 29-year-old then looked at a shoe sole and suggested that the Reebok design squad give the sneakers extra height.

Cardi’s Ongoing Reebok Collaboration

As of right now, the Reebok website has a plethora of offerings from her current collection. Items include sneakers, slides, leggings, crop tops, sports jackets and more. She even has pieces for the plus-sized girlies as well. Everything comes in bold shades such as bright pink, purple, blue, yellow and black, which reflects her flashy style.

Despite Cardi’s great news, he’s been at the center of drama. Last week she was embroiled in a heated Twitter exchange with Atlanta rapper Akbar V. However, she assured fans that, irrespective of the controversy, she has more great things in store.

Cardi B’s New Reebok Collection Inspired By Daughter Kulture

Grammy award winning rapper Cardi B is set to release a new Reebok collection inspired by her daughter Kulture.

Cardi B continues to win as she gets ready to release her 3rd collaboration with Reebok. This time, her new collection will be inspired by her two year old daughter Kulture. This “Mommy and Me” collection comes from the love that she experienced when her daughter was born.

This collection shows new versions of Cardi’s Club C sneaker that she previously released with Reebok a few months back. The new versions come in two monochrome colors. Rose Gold and Aqua Dust in which are “inspired by special moments with Kulture and Cardi’s life as a mom,”.

The video below shows Cardi explaining her love for culture and shares some advice that she will soon provide to Kulture.

Cardi B has appeared in Reebok ad campaigns since 2018. Then continued to partner with Reebok by debuting her Club C sneaker collection last November. Cardi is not only killing it in the music industry but also in fashion!

Cardi B (@iamcardib) kicked off her birthday weekend by announcing the drop of her first ever collab with Reebok Footwear! The Grammy Award-winning artist turned 28 on Sunday and announced the exciting news on her Instagram on Saturday.

To reward her fans, Cardi B decided to drop two items from the collection at midnight on Sunday night. The items are two pairs of sneakers, one priced at $50 and the other at $100. Despite Cardi being known for her flamboyant and flashy style, the chalk, matte gold, and black shoes show no sign of her name on the design and are quite plain. Expect more from the remaining pieces of the collection, because the designs combine high fashion, streetwear, and Cardi’s personality. The rest of the “Club C Cardi” line will be dropping on November 13.

Cardi B has been a brand ambassador for the company since November 2018 and has starred in campaigns for the new styles and collections. The rapper was the face of the ‘Meet You There’ collection, a streewear-inspired athleisure collection. They released a campaign video for the collection in early August before the drop and offered the clothing in a wide range of sizes: 2XS to 3XL.

Cardi B has also partnered with the clothing brand Fashion Nova to help people struggling financially due to the coronavirus pandemic. When the collab dropped, she wrote on Instagram “#FashionNovaCARES & I are giving away $1,000 EVERY HOUR until we’ve given away $1 MILLION DOLLARS to those directly affected by the (coronavirus) crisis”.

Kendrick Does Gang Tribute with Reebok Ventilator Design

The Summer has another exclusive sneaker release for us, this time it’s from Kendrick Lamar x Reebok. This is Kendrick’s second design release with the Reebok Ventilator, and this one pays homage to his native Los Angeles.

Kendrick decided to use this platform to promote peace between crip and blood games. He does this using a neutral background, and adding red and blue details to each shoe. I’m feeling the neutral color with the gum bottom, and the meaning behind the details. Kudos to Kendrick for going with his gut. Photos via Hypebeast.
