Tory Lanez Bail to Increase for Breaking Megan Thee Stallion’s Restraining Order

Tory Lanez appeared at the Los Angeles County Court, where his felony assault bail increased for breaking Megan Thee Stallion’s restraining order. It went from $190,000 to $250,000. The reason is Tory Lanez violating Megan Thee Stallion’s restraining order during his unannounced appearance at DaBaby’s Rolling Loud Miami set. Tory came up at the stage almost right after Megan’s show was over.

Judge Keith Borjon told Tory not “to be doing things like this.” Borjon also assumed Tory has “the means and the wherewithal and a lot of smart people around to advise.” His hope is that in the future, “we don’t have to have hearings like this.”

Tory Lanez allegedly shot Megan Thee Stallion in her foot a year ago. Ever since his music sales dropped 40%, he got canceled and now facing 22 years in prison on felony charges. Tory denied the allegations and tweeted, “Time will tell… and the truth will come to the light … I have all faith in God to show that … love to all my fans and people that have stayed true to me & know my heart … a charge is not a conviction. If you have supported me or meg thru this, I genuinely appreciate u.”

Below is the statement on assault from Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office. It describes the incident between Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion, “The defendant and the 24-year-old victim got into an argument while riding in an SUV in the Hollywood Hills. The victim exited the vehicle, and Peterson (Lanez) accused of shooting several times at her feet and wounding her.”

The case is still under ongoing investigation, and Tory’s fate is unclear. He keeps denying the charges and complaining he was “framed.” Be sure to read more on that here.

Soulja Boy’s sexual assault accuser granted a restraining order

Soulja Boy’s sexual assault accuser has been granted three-year long restraining order. The anonymous woman, known only as Jane Doe in the lawsuit, claims that she and Soulja Boy dated on and off in 2007 and had a serious relationship between 2014 and 2019.  And in 2015, Jane Doe suffered a miscarriage after Soulja attacked her.

“Our client is fortunate she was able to escape Way’s reign of terror and domestic abuse,” the woman’s attorney stated.

Doe’s attorney said in a statement: “Still, she struggles to rebuild her life as she deals with the stress, fear, and humiliation she continues to suffer from the years she remained Way’s emotional and mental captive. She worries about her daughter’s security and safety and about her ability to re-establish her career. We plan for it to end here.”

 

How It All Started

The rapper hired the woman as his personal assistant, and then it all began. The parties did not appear during the declaration of the restraining order. Rather, attorneys appeared in place of their respective clients.  

It all began when Soulja Boy sent illicit pictures were the the unnamed woman. Eventually, the relationship became romantic, and in the end, it became violent. 

Her alleged abuse involved forcing her to walk 5 miles after being pushed outside of a car. According to Soulja, he “expressed remorse” by paying her $1,000 after sexually assaulting her. All allegations against the rapper have been denied. Despite this, the lawsuit against the rapper is still in the pending phase.

Revenge porn and harassment claims by attorney

Blac Chyna is not taking Rob Kardashian’s attacks sitting down. The model and businesswoman has retained leading attorney and legal commentator Lisa Bloom and filed for a temporary restraining order against her baby’s father. The response comes after a slew of shocking Instagram and Twitter posts from Kardashian’s accounts on Wednesday. The 30-year-old released Blac Chyna’s phone number along with explicit photos of his ex, and repeatedly accused her of cheating on him and abusing drugs. While Blac Chyna did not publicly respond to the offensive posts, her message was sent loud and clear through Bloom on Friday. The attorney released a statement condemning Kardashian’s behavior and announcing impending legal action:

“I am very proud to represent Blac Chyna as she stands up for her rights as a woman and as a mother against her ex, Rob Kardashian.

Yesterday Chyna retained me, and today we filed for temporary restraining orders to protect her rights.

Mr. Kardashian, you are now on notice: revenge porn is illegal. Cyberbullying your ex is harassment. Chyna ended your relationship months ago and she has the right to live as she chooses, work as she chooses, dress as she chooses, date who she chooses, and be intimate with who she chooses. Chyna and I both believe that this is an important women’s rights issues, as too many women and girls have been slut-shamed by exes.

It stops now. Your attempts to shame and control her body are hereby rejected.

Her body, her choice. Her life, her choice. Back off.”

Bloom goes on to say that a request will be filed on Monday for ” the appropriate restraining orders to require Mr. Kardashian to behave like a grownup toward the mother of his baby.” In now-deleted Snapchat posts, Blac Chyna also accused Kardashian of putting his hands on her after his social media tirade. The turn of events may finally be the end for the on-again, off-again couple, who had a whirlwind romance last year. The pair became engaged in April 2016 after just three months of dating, and Blac Chyna announced her pregnancy weeks later. Their daughter, Dream, will be eight months old on Tuesday.
