The relationship between virtual rapper FN Meka and Capitol Records appears to be short. On Tuesday, August 23, Capitol Records announced they had parted ways with artificial intelligence rapper FN Meka. Activists and members of the general public consider the robot to be a stereotypical image of Black culture. Kyle The Hooligan, the rapper and the voice behind the AI-based rapper, responded on Instagram to Capitol’s decision to terminate the FN Meka deal.
What Was The Treatment Of Kyle The Hooligan?
Co-founders Anthony Martini and Brandon Le of the VR company Factory New ghosted Hooligan after getting all the tools to create the character, including the ability to use the N-word.

Consider yourself a member of a team that is responsible for the creation of a project. Then, those who are there to help you suddenly took all the credit for your accomplishments and ghosted you. Those actions will leave a person feeling confused and disappointed.
Additionally, Kyle asserts that Anthony and Brandon offered him equity and percentages to persuade him. However, they never followed up with him after the proposal. Prior to collecting damages, the “No Turning Back” rapper admitted to waiting for FN Meka’s success. Following the announcement that FN Meka exited his record deal due to public criticism, Kyle revealed that he never received compensation for his work.
“Next thing I know, n*ggas just ghosted me,” Hooligan said. “Like, used my voice, used my sound, used the culture, and literally just left me high and dry. I ain’t get a dime off of nothing.”

Producer Hitmaka Shares His Opinions
According to TMZ, Hitmaka, aka Yung Berg, spoke with TMZ on Wednesday regarding Capitol Records’ support for the defamatory robot rapper.
“It’s some of the most disrespectful stuff I’ve seen in a long time,” Hitmaka said. “To know that nobody from the culture was involved with the creation of this just shows how much of a capitalist mindstate Capitol Records was in.”
FN Meka: What Led To Its Creation?
Furthermore, as per Hooligan, robot creators Anthony and Brandon approached him to ask if he would like to be the voice of FN Meka. The initial thought that crossed his mind was that it was an opportunity for collaboration. After that, they promised Kyle shares in the company and a percentage of the profits. Therefore, those offers immediately piqued his interest and convinced him that this opportunity would be beneficial. As a result, he would be able to make music as well as gain experience in the technology field.
Karma Is Real To Kyle
Although he continued to express his displeasure at the unjust treatment he received, Hooligan also said that the robot creators had faced cancellation.
“They got record deals and all this stuff. I wasn’t involved in no meetings or none of that, which is f*cked up,” FN Meka creator said. “So honestly, I’m glad they a** got canceled. That’s karma for they a**.”
The concept of karma is accurate, and no one is exempt from it. In other words, be careful what you dispense in this world.
