Coachella has changed its health policy for future concert goers. Before, attendees had to be vaccinated to attend the four-day festival. But now they won’t be required to get it. Instead, the festival staff will let others in based on their COVID-19 test results.
Guests will have to show proof of full vaccination or a negative test 72 hours before the event starts to get into Coachella. The prominent music event will run in the Polo Fields from April 15-17 & 22-24, 2022. Travis Scott will perform onstage. However, the rest of the lineup is anonymous.
Coachella was co-founded by Paul Tollett and Rick Van Santen in 1999. It features various artists and genres. Not to mention its been held in Indio, California for 20 years. The first Coachella lineup had multi-genre artists like Beck, Rage Against The Machine, and Tool. The 1999 Coachella didn’t gain as much profit, with the festival only selling around 25,000 tickets. In 2000 the concert was canceled, but came back in 2001 and has been ascending since.
